i suppose HD?   i use a computer monitor.

#3 Posted by Hot_Karl (3309 posts) -

I'm using a computer/LCD TV monitor to game on. It's kinda horrible though- ironically enough, my laptop has a bigger screen than my 15" gaming TV.
But soon, I'll get a new one.

As of Christmas, HD.

#5 Posted by graniteoctopus (260 posts) -

HD. I've got a 26" Samsung 1080p LCD. A bit small, but it suits my needs.

as of christams :) 52 inch lcd. and free HDMI cables :D

For the longest time, I was gaming on an SD tv (probably, like 14") with naught but an RF modulator for input. My gamecube sure looked like ass on that thing. Even made this incredibly annoying garbled and loud sound every now and then while playing Wind Waker (still not sure exactly what that was). Bought a 32" LCD a couple years ago for the Xbox 360 (not to mention normal TV watching), but now I've switched that onto my PC monitor, anyway, since the TV is always being used and I'd rather not deal with monopolizing the TV, myself. Any monitor these days is still way higher than HD resolution (720p), technically.

HD, tis only a 26" but it'll suffice.

I use a CRT.

HD and lovin' it. You can't go back once you make the leap.
Unless you want to play last gen games.

HD, can't see myself playing in SD, to those saying they don't have money. I have no job, when I got my 360, I saved up $200 and bought a used 26" LCD on Craigslist. 26" HD > any size SD.

SD here. I've got inputs for component cables though, maybe I'll do that some day. I'm perfectly cool with SD for now.

HD since the PS3 looks ass if you hook it up to a SD TV

#15 Posted by Claude (16251 posts) -

I run with SD. It's not a bad one though. 36" flat screen Sony Trinitron Wega. I can read small print, so I'm good.

Where's the 'both' option? I have my xbox360 and ps3 hooked up to my main pc monitor, and my Wii hooked up to a big ol CRT, just like it's meant to be.

My friend games on an SDTV. You can barely see people on MW2, he says that he just shoots whenever he sees a black blob move.

32" HD, and sometimes 22" HD.

#39 Posted by SJSchmidt93 (4874 posts) -

Yes, 50" plasma.

#40 Posted by jonnyboy (2920 posts) -

I bought my Xbox after I bought my HD TV. When I took it on holiday I hooked it up to an SD set that was there and I could have sworn I had developed cataracts.

#41 Posted by InfiniteGeass (2041 posts) -

HD of course. I've had mine for a little over a year now it looks fantastic. It is 26 inches and projects in 1080i.

#42 Edited by captain_clayman (3300 posts) -

i have a 40 inch HD but it's only 720p.
i don't know what i'm really missing but it looks pretty good.
and i guess you could say my computer screen is HD, it's 1920 x 1200
but i don't play many games on it.

#43 Posted by BinaryDragon (637 posts) -

32" Samsung HDTV Tis nice. Runs at 30,000:1 Contrast Ratio and has three HDMI inputs aswell as a PC & Component input. Have my PS3, Xbox360, PC and PS2 (on Component) plugged into it. Had it just over a year now.
Can't go back!

22" 1080p

#45 Posted by Everyones_A_Critic (6270 posts) -

32" 720p LCD TV. I know it isn't exactly the highest resolution out there by any means, but from what I had before it's a HUGE improvement.

#46 Posted by wolf_blitzer85 (5235 posts) -

360 is hooked up to a 32 inch SD tv and my compupter monitor is a 23" 1080p monitor that looks oh so pretty. Slowly saving up for an hdtv for the 360 and soon PS3.
Yup that's pretty much what I have to do. Usually if I'm looking at a wall that doesn't quite look like a wall I shoot it because more often than not there is a dude there that I just cant see.

50" and 42" HDTV's for me.

#48 Posted by Froy544 (49 posts) -

I have an hd tv but for some weird reason i seem to dominate alot more in modern warfare 2 when i play on the sd. So now i just switch back and forth depending on what game im playing.
#49 Posted by foggel (2763 posts) -

40'' HD. I'm near sighted, so I don't need anything bigger :)

#50 Posted by iam3green (14388 posts) -

32", i played on my 360 in SD for the longest time.
