I haven't been on the site on my computer in a week and now i'm seeing this...do you see these too?

That's not true. I have adblock and no sub, but I whitelisted Giantbomb's domain.

@liquiddragon: I think blasphemers using the white scheme get more intrusive ads. That was Dave's final gift before he left.

I get some weird ones that I'm sure aren't supposed to be there, but nothing that takes over my screen like that, no.

Haven't seen those ads, but I have seen some "Small Business Owner?" ads, which is great.

I'm a subscriber so no ads and though I do use adblock, GB is one of the few I've turned it off out of respect for the content and the crew (and if I'm not logged in the ads let me know that for the most part)

What happened to the no intrusive ads philosophy?

Stuff like this makes me not visit the sites that do it.

Luckily I'm not getting intrusive ads here, just a lot of Titanfall.

@tennmuerti: I know things change, espcially after the buyout but exactly my feeling. I slowly stop going to sites that have these kinds of ads.

I did that a while back, but I turned it off again. Remember that eye-destroying pink ad that painted the sides of the site a nauseating neon pink? That is when I turned it on, because god damn it was horrible. What the OP got is at least something that won't destroy your retina.
