Kind of a follow-up to a similar poll I made a month ago.
Do you like school?
University is awesome, except when they require you take specific courses unrelated to your major. By this logic, high school is a fucking nightmare. Now multiply that by 100 and you have my opinion of high school.
It's a necessary evil. I'm talking purely about the academia aspect of it. Messing around with buddies and whatnot is great, but I don't consider that part of school.
I didn't hate it when I was younger and enjoyed my time there more than the actual learning. Nowadays though, I take classes that are relevant to my life and applicable to my work and other areas of interest and I love it. It's really great learning new things, and doubly so when you can use it.

School was great, good friends and I didn't struggle in any particular subject. Apart from maybe History, fuck that shit.
College is still better though. Studying Music like whaaaaa
Never particularly enjoyed school, but love learning and love university. I sometimes regret not making the most of my actual school time. Nowadays I know loads about humanities subjects but my knowledge of science is basic at best and you couldn't fill a thimble with my knowledge of maths past basic arithmetic. Wouldn't bother me but there's a point where that just stays as a regret, not a lot of opportunity to teach yourself up to undergraduate level chemistry or w/e

Tell us about that experience *creeper Jeff heavy breathing*
For me, yeah college is fine so far. Only problem is tuition costs. Right now I owe the school ~$700 by the 15th or I'm not attending next semester.
I despised going to school because the second I got on the bus until I got off it at the end of the day was nothing but being bullied and picked on non stop. As for the actual learning part of school, I loved it up to sixth grade when I got the 90 year old hell bitch that shouldn't have been teaching anymore that destroyed my love of learning.
I didn't like most things about high school. I'm going to community college which isn't a huge change, but I like it more than high school.
I had a horrible school experience, so no for me. I hope to never meet most of the people from my school again because of it. University is a far more enjoyable experience to me.
I liked high school and I'm enjoying college. I think if I could pass on one piece of advice concerning school, it would be just do your best. All that really matters in the end is that you have learned to solve problems, and a degree from a school is proof that you can do that. Also learn how to spell.
It's a waste of time they don't focus on what you should be learning they bullshit around talking about crap instead of teaching. They make you go in at a regular time to ready you for work, when in actuality it is impractical to go in if they don't have anything to teach. They just want me to come in and fucking sit there while they completely waste my time. Maybe I just haven't been to a good school/college yet but that's my experience. When I was going to trade school they didn't waste too much time, there was hardly enough time. Now in University I'm learning the skills and knowledge of my career in my own time, and no it's not the homework they set for me, and no it's not something I have come across whilst doing homework. Plus they are teaching out of date practices and giving too much priority to nonsense subjects I had to sign up to that have little to do with my major. Basically the time spent in school is benefitting neither me or society. Having said that rant I think classes that teach practical skills are important because they get subsidized materials etc, and I am thinking about eventually getting into industrial design somehow (I'm learning graphic+web design stuff now). Websites are a safer career for now but eventually I think all new web content will be feeds in three years (I do enjoy making them in the meantime). There are more things that can go wrong with a physical object and designing to solve that would be more interesting.
fag histery wuz the bestSchool was great, good friends and I didn't struggle in any particular subject. Apart from maybe History, fuck that shit.

@OllyOxenFree: last day of school. i hear this creepy kid say to a decent girl, i'll give you $5 to show me your boobs. turn around right the right moment see her boobs. we were looking at pictures of something. funny thing was that a friend didn't look at it.
I am actually suprised more people like school than don't. I guess there's a major difference between whether someone interprets that to mean the school you're forced to go to by the government or the school you do for your own self improvement ( at least that's how I viewed it )
Sure, I like school, but they put a restraining order on me after the last time I visited.
Oh well, guess there's still the kindergarten.
Not in particular, they made me do a bunch of shit I don't give a fuck about. In fact they still are only now it's a shit ton more expensive!
College is nice since you have the freedom to choose your own schedule and such as for primary school - high school I hated it and skipped as many days as I possibly could.
No I don't. But I have trouble relating to people, and I'm a giant fucking nerd, like you guys. I don't know.
the education is fine, some of the professors I don't care much, maybe if they taught the material better I wouldn't feel like such a waste.
