That's smart, and I'm suprised that I didn't think of it until now.
While it would be awesome to have them post as much as other members of the Giant Bomb community I would think it would also stiflle us slightly in that we would feel less free to criticise them where needs be and to do ideas of our own accord without waiting for them to post in the thread about it being a good or a bad idea and that determination being more important than whether people like the idea and would do it.

It's a lot of work running a site. Even more work being a journalist. As one who worked at a college newspaper, it's all about writing. And editing. And more editing. And some more editing. Not even putting into account the sheer volume of games they have to play.
Correct me if I am wrong, but one benefit of video game coverage is that you don't have to seek sources, as they will usually come to you (E3, GDC, any developer event, etc.) But still, lots of time spent working, little time to post.
