Does anybody here have a bobble?

#1 Edited by Hizang (8536 posts) - 11 months, 25 days ago

Bobble is a fairly new water bottle that filters as you drink, I have had one for a few months now and really like it. I know its just water at the end of the day, but I used to buy crap loads of water bottles where as now this is what I use. Everybody else thinks I'm crazy for getting one of these but I love them!

Anybody else have a bobble?

Nope, seems pretty handy though.

Love these things. I always reused water bottles over and over so this thing makes perfect sense for me. Way cheaper than buying new bottles every time. I've had a black, blue and now onto the green. Never seen the red or yellow though!

I've been thinking about getting one, just haven't gotten around to getting one yet.
But might as well do it soon since I'm gonna be working outside in the heat a lot soon.

No, where do you get them, they look useful as hell.

I get 25 gallons of Zypher hills delivered to the house once a month so I don't really drink tap water anymore, but I'll give this thing a look.

does it filter urine.

I've considered getting one, but they're like like $20.

I have a huge blue one. Haven't seen the yellow or green. But I feel like I need one in every color after this thread. :|

Nope, I have a normal reusable water bottle. Unless this can filter river water than I find it quite useless.

nope, i just use a regular bottle i just fill over and over with just regular tap water.

We got a general home water filter, so I just drink tap water. It's sweet.

#15 Posted by Ravenlight (7098 posts) - 11 months, 25 days ago

It looks like a device to facilitate sexytime.

Also, since it's filtering on-the-fly, how long are the filters good for?

#16 Posted by ADarkMatter (125 posts) - 11 months, 25 days ago
@Ravenlight: I think its something around 300-500 bottles, (more inclined to 500) then you can buy another filter

Nah I don't like the taste of filtered water. Even raw tap water is preferable, but I tend to just drink large water bottles.

That would be a pain because remember the filters don't last forever. Of course I do have them in four colours...

Perfect for bug out bags!

I've had one for almost a year now, they're really pretty useful!

@Hizang That's when you buy a boatload of the most common filter colors... >.>

How many ounces does it hold?

#23 Posted by Hizang (8536 posts) - 11 months, 25 days ago

@Soapy86: There are many different sizes, check there website.

Nah. My local water's still too nasty even when filtered once by a Brita style hepa filter.

#25 Posted by Management (591 posts) - 11 months, 25 days ago

I live in Norway, the water here doesn't need to be filtered.

#26 Posted by ZimboDK (848 posts) - 11 months, 25 days ago

I'm buying one next month. I drink several glasses of water a day at work, no problem. But the tap water in my apartment is pretty terrible.

#27 Posted by Codeacious (903 posts) - 11 months, 25 days ago

I got mine last semester- it made getting water from the tap a suddenly viable option.

The contour of the bottle seems less than ideal.

#29 Posted by TheDudeOfGaming (5878 posts) - 11 months, 25 days ago

They look weird.

#30 Posted by LTSmash (405 posts) - 11 months, 25 days ago

I use an in-line home filter with a 40 oz. Klean Kanteen.

#31 Posted by ahaisthisourchance (1662 posts) - 11 months, 25 days ago

It's a shame when your tapwater is so shitty you need filters to drink it.

#32 Posted by Hizang (8536 posts) - 11 months, 24 days ago
@ahaisthisourchance Mines pretty good, but I still prefer this one.
#33 Posted by mscupcakes (609 posts) - 11 months, 24 days ago

I don't know why, but I always thought they looked a bit lewd. That said I totally want a pink one.

#34 Posted by Subject2Change (2869 posts) - 11 months, 24 days ago

My girlfriend has one, I need to pick up a water bottle due to the heat. So it'll probably be one of these.

#35 Posted by Tireyo643 (5694 posts) - 11 months, 24 days ago

Looks like it sweats too much.

#36 Posted by Hizang (8536 posts) - 10 months, 28 days ago

bobble just released a new accessory, its a bobble style ice tray. Although when you look at it that ice would be unfiltered water, unless your in to this shit deep and use a bobble jug to pour filtered into the ice tray.
