E3 Mysteries fan art

Patrick seemed really hyped about GiantBomb's theme this year being "Solving The E3 Mysteries", and I also thought that was funny.

Someone made some fanart and I got really itchy about the idea of them as like a 50s children's book, and I thought "I better fucking get this down before someone else comes up with it first!!!"

Tell me how to improve it if you have any suggestions, cos I don't wanna send these guys any fanart that doesn't look like them or is drawn bad. I'm havin trouble getting Jeff to look like jeff, and I think I'm gonna do Brad's outfit again to make him look more vintage. I'm thinking about going in Photoshop and going over it as a painting, and making it look more legit and have like spooky rim lighting and yknow... cos vector art doesn't really... aaahh maybe it's fine...

Trivia: It had this sticker, but I took it off cos I thought it was distracting. Also Patrick used to look like this but I changed him cos I thought I could be nicer. Oh and an alternate title was this.

Looks great. The only thing that sticks out to me is Patricks chin is pretty big, other than that it looks fine.

Nah I think it'd be funnier if the background was the LA convention centre, just with regular people walking in and out of it.

I just didn't spend long looking for a picture.

Awesome idea, it looks really cool. The one thing that looks off to me is the flare from the flashlight. I think you could remove it or soften it. You could also apply a filter in photoshop to make it look done with tradiitonal media if you don't feel like painting the whole thing digitally.

Since you asked for suggestions: Maybe a condensed sans-serif font for the "Adventure Bunch Five" part? It's a little equal in hierarchy to the "Electronic Three" main title. Maybe go with a book cover format? Something fun could be done with the author's name.

Yeah I kind of already tried to. Don't know if Ryan and Jeff's poses LOOK FAMILIAR or anything!!! but then I drew the other characters and it got too wide with all the stuff I had to squeeze on. so I was like aaaaa... this'll do. I'm not tryina hit perfect parody or anything, the main thing is that the joke is there.
