There's an outstanding HBO Documentary they're showing on CNN right now on H.W. Bush called "41". It's a pretty sweeping and indepth look at the President.
It's interesting to see how beloved he was back then (still is) and dignified. I wish I could've remembered his Presidency. I didn't start paying attention until George W. Bush, basically after September 11th after high school. The only memory I have of Clinton in fact is when my 7th or 8th grade History teacher was outraged and yelled at us "how dare he shake his finger at the American people!" :P During the Lewinsky scandal. But I was too busy looking at the hot girls in my class to really care or remember the Presidents.
One of the most interesting aspects of the Documentary for me is how old Bush is and how much experience he has. He remembers Pearl Harbor! He was in college at that time when it happened, which is so insane and awesome to me. Because I find WWII to be so fascinating and it's sad to know that those who experienced it won't be around much longer. I also didn't know that Bush worked for Eisenhower, shows how far he goes back and it's quite fascinating to think about someone having so much experience with so many different Presidents (Nixon, Ford, Reagen too).
Anyone who's interested in Presidents or in history or the Bushes should check the documentary out. It's a good one.
