League code: 867532-193700

When Giant Bomb, Screened, Tested, Comic Vine and Anime Vice collide, who will win? Well actually only one person can win but let's get it on with aggressive rivalry nonetheless!

Soccer sucks, the NFL is a real man's game.

*EDIT*
Okay, okay. I just got angry because of the handegg reference.

Awesome. Hopefully this year I'll actually pay attention throughout the season, rather than forget about it half way through like last year. Also, I've stickied this to Off-topic.

I stopped reading when I saw "Soccer."

You really asked for these retarded comments when you put 'Handegg' right there in the thread title.

Maybe you shouldn't have commented either, that would have been better.

@OP: Sure why not. It's been a while since my last participation in any Fantasy Football Leagues. This should be fun.

It was an ode to last year's 2009/2010 League as opposed to a genuine insult to the NFL. No offence was intended.

Thanks to everyone who's signed up so far.

Yeah, I typed and posted before thinking. I guess I should put NFL or American Football in my fanboy resume.

I call it The Bramble Gamble and one day, when he scores a hattrick of bicycles kicks, I'll be in the money.

I dont think the state that has to deal with the Detroit Lions every year has a real say in how good NFL football is.

No, but I used to live in New Zealand, and I watched the All Blacks dominate the Aussies on the field for two years. I know what I'm talking about. Those games make NFL matches look like figure skating.

I am Vf Verbatum :) My team is kind of gambling on chelsea having another high scoring season!
Also Rubgy is better than NFL. Go away.

#32 Posted by sins_of_mosin (1556 posts) -

I try to watch as many games as I can on ESPN and it looks like I can access the site from work so I'll give it a go.

We're so close to a new season!

Chelsea just signed Ramires :)

A midfield with options of Lampard, Essien, Ramires, Malouda is a pretty good one eh?

#40 Posted by Allprox (537 posts) -

I'm in too,  Ancelotti to be first to get the sack!

#41 Posted by cap123 (2477 posts) -

joe hart is the godamn business.

#42 Posted by TheLegendofLuke (563 posts) -

Titus Bramble doubtful. Worst day ever. :(

#43 Posted by FLStyle (4584 posts) -

First match of the season is done and dusted. The teams draw 0-0 but whoever has Tottenham and Man. City defenders in their teams wins six points each.

#44 Posted by TheLegendofLuke (563 posts) -

Joe Hart has 9 points at the minute, though I imagine he'll get a couple of bonus points as well.

#45 Posted by cap123 (2477 posts) -

Kompany, De jong, Toure and Hart were all fantastic.

Also just to let the world know, I was saying hart should have started the world cup, after his performances at birmingham last season. Seems man city's most valuble player as been with them all along, a top class keeper at 23? it's what teams dream of.

#46 Posted by Djeffers03 (2545 posts) -
@Claude: Once again I am forced to inform someone that American Football is not a man's game, Rugby is.
#47 Posted by cap123 (2477 posts) -

Leaderboard just updated, I am top with 80 points! :)

Holy triumvirate of Drogba, Malouda and Lampard!

#48 Posted by Liono88 (368 posts) -

NFL is slightly more brutal that Rugby. Different strokes for different folks. Wtf happen on Drogba's free kick the wall opened up for him to shoot.

#49 Posted by tallTuck94 (553 posts) -

FUCK!!! i took drogba off cause it said he was "doubtful" and now i'm second last

#50 Edited by MattyFTM (14347 posts) -

I'm pleased with my third place. Neither of the two guys above me have Rooney in their squad, so when Rooney scores 10 goals against Newcastle on Monday I'll take the lead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
