The fuck is Subway doing ahead of Arby's.

Subway has exactly one above-average menu item, the meatball sandwich. Arby's has the Beef n Cheddar, the French dip, curly fries, and Jamocha shakes. This is not hard.

In Britsh Columbia, if I wanted a burger, I go to Vera's Burger Shack where they serve 6oz burgers and I get a combo with 2 patties in my burger. I also go to any pizza place that makes a taco pizza.

@andorski: Yeah, it is not as common as one would think. If you ever find yourself in SD county or Las Vegas, look up a place called Tacos El Gordo, that shit is to die for.

On topic though, Pollo Loco, it is all I have because their grilled chicken is the best and it fits right into my diet. Can't imagine where I would be if there wasn't a pollo loco close to work.

I just checked places I enjoy going to.

Never understood the fascination with Chipotle. I have been there a few times, but...I dunno, expensive Taco Bell is what it basically is to me. I prefer Taco Bell, but only ever eat Taco Bell a midnight...seems wrong to eat it at any other time but midnight.

Also Subway. Love the buffalo chicken sub.

No Papa Johns on the list is criminal. Way better than Dominos and Pizza Hut. But I love Sbarros, get it every time i go to the mall, which is the only place it exists in my area...and most other areas in Florida.

I actually do go to 7-11 quite a bit...it's a little sad. I like their Cuban Presses. There is also a Circle K down the road where I get nice cheap fountain drinks (67 cents for a 44 oz).

As for dessert places, Yogurtland is the shit. I'd take it over Cold Stone or Baskin-Robin's most days, even though I have nothing against ice cream.

"People do funny stuff on tv. Like eat at Arby's!" - Marge Simpson

I voted for Arby's.

Love that Five Guys and Wendy's are taking the lead, although Five Guys is clearly the superior option.

Other. Culvers.

@ravenlight: Yeah, their 9" footlongs with less meat than your kindergarten lunchbox sandwich kinda suck. They're healthy only by giving you less.

Wawa but no Sheetz? Boooo

Booster Juice, Jamba Juice, and an assorted smattering of froyo places are what my "other" option represent.

Kneel before all-powerful White Castle.

Several of those I wouldn't exactly consider fast food (Five Guys, Denny's, other similar non-drive thrus).

There are a lot of fast food places I've never been to. I would gladly eat at any of these places right now, cause i've been eating nothing but cheap sandwiches and cereal for days. However if I had to pick one, I would choose between Chick Fil A, Five Guys, or Panda Express. Also what's up with no Papa Johns? Way better than Dominos or Pizza Hut.

Yes, Papa John's is my favorite large chain pizza place. They can't compete with the local independent italian and specialty pizza spots, but for a huge chain their product is consistently yummy. :)

Subway for sure. I used to love Five Guys but every time I eat there now I feel terribly sick afterwards, probably because I can feel my arteries clogging up every time I take a bite out of anything they make.

Chick-fil-a is the best you heathens

Hungry Jacks(Burger King), Domino's, Subway and Orporto are the big 4 for me.

#68 Edited by rachelepithet (1392 posts) -

I've seen good Wendy's and I bet there's good 5 Guys out there, but the ones near me are way dumpy.

#69 Posted by Deathstriker (335 posts) -

El Pollo Loco is the best mentioned... Moe's beats the hell out of Chipotle and Subway. Honerable mentions to Zaxbys and Chik-fil-a

Most of those made me feel ill to think about.

As a general rule of thumb, I find pretty much all fast food off-putting and gross. That said, I threw a vote in for Mr. Sub since the local one we used to have was actually quite well put together. Fast food places also tend to be extremely limited if you're not going to be eating meat, so even if most of the food wasn't as gross as it is, it still wouldn't be for me.
