Favo(u)rite Cake and Pie ? [bonus points for brownies]

How's that for a spin on the age old "pie vs cake" argument? You can enjoy both! What's your preferred type of each dessert? I'm not exactly a connoisseur in either of these two fields, so I look at this as an opportunity to get more familiarly acquainted with the subject.

Also, brownies too.

I like me a Pecan Pie and a nice ol' regular Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Frosting.

I love Lemon Meringue pie.

Vanilla cake, not too big on cake or brownies really.

I enjoy a nice mixed berry pie. As for cake just pain old vanilla or a cherry cheese cake.

And brownies are also pretty sweet.

My favorte cake is moka cake (its made out of coffe for those who dont know what moka is)

For pie .... lemon pie grandma´s recepy .... delicious

For cake it's carrot cake but most places don't use enough oil. If there is the slightest bit of dryness in a carrot cake it is substandard. For pie, pumpkin is the way to go.

I don't eat either cakes or pies often because when they are around I'll tend to eat the whole thing over the course of the day.

Raspberry jam-filled chocolate cake.

Banana cream pie is where it's at yo.

As far as cake, I'll take some raspberry cheesecake.

Had a Julian boysen berry pie a few weeks ago. It was pretty great.

Blueburrrry Pie boy.

Pecan Pie is probably my favorite. Nothing beats a good slice of that.

I don't think I have a favorite kind of cake though.

Get a box of off-the-shelf brownie mix and toss a bag of raspberry chips in it.

There is a pie shop near me, named Emporium Pies, who make a bomb-ass apple pie (which is dubbed "Lord of the Pies"). Soooooo apple pies win.

As for pie that are less dessert and more "food" I'm really fond of the old Cheese and Ham pie.

I love me some chocolate cake, yeah I know boring choice.

Nothing beats...Bundt cake/marble cake? I think, anyway. I had to google to get the English names, could be that they're a bit different from what I'm talking about. As for pies I don't really have a strong favorite, but a blueberry pie is always good.

Fuck, I'm so boring.

Apple pie man, all the way - pizza is a very close second, and of course, is actual food by comparison.
