I personally use Firefox but I am thinking of switching to Chrome

Opera! Though I keep to keep Firefox around so that I can edit Giant Bomb when I feel the need (Get to that please guys!). Its nothing against the other browsers but opera simply feels right to me, the button placements just seem to be where I would want them, I used to be all about Firefox for a few years but it didnt feel quite as right as Opera when I got used to it.

I have a friend who loves Opera, though I've never tried it. I'm a Firefox man, myself.

Opera does look fantastic, I just can't be doing without my Firefox addons though.

Opera, but I have Firefox installed for sites that don't support Opera

I like IE and Chrome; use both all the time. I like how IE manages Favorites and RSS feeds. While, I like Chrome's speed and UI.
Though, the main reason why I started using Chrome was that Giant Bomb is kinda broken in IE.

Used to be Firefox, now its Chome because Firefox keeps crashing.

I would switch to chrome if they fixed their downloads.

#10 Posted by C2C (855 posts) -

My main browser is chrome, but I switch to Opera from time to time.  I also have Firefox and IE for edits/sites that don't support the other two.

I use chrome, switched from firefox a bit ago. Both are pretty good, I just find chrome a bit faster, and the multiple-processes are nice

Still Firefox .
Not too used to Chrome.

I like Google Chrome's feature where it shows your favorite pages when you open a new tab. And being able to Google search in the URL bar is nice, but I haven't done that a lot yet.

Firefox, since I can customize the hell out of it.

What issue do you have with their downloads?

I use Chrome.
#16 Posted by Gmanall (1683 posts) -

Google Chrome , because its speed and indie tabs.

#17 Posted by Ace829 (2083 posts) -

Firefox all the way.

#18 Posted by Qorious (847 posts) -

Google Chrome + extensions > Firefox 3.6. I really hope they hurry up and release 3.7. I'm really craving for a new interface.

Now that Chrome has adblock its really no contest at all.

It's not always supported for certain sites as a browser to download stuff.

I alternate between firefox and chrome usually, depends how I'm feeling on the day.

#22 Posted by Meteora (5787 posts) -

Firefox. I only began using Firefox for tabbing when IE didn't have it, which completely changed on how I can manage multiple of sites. To be quite frank that's about all I need from a browser, I never really looked too much into the addons. I only have like one or two installed on my browser.

For some reason I can't figure out how to close tabs on things in Chrome. I can close them but whenever I start up Chrome it just pops right back up in history. Also the interface is funky as hell for me. Same goes for the newer IE interfaces. Speed does not feel like a large issue for me, as crazy as it sounds.

This, Firefox has crashed about at least 5 times today when in college. Chrome is much better in my opinion.

I use Firefox as my primary browser. You can customise it a lot and I like a ton of the addons. TBH I don't think I could live without some of my addons. Although Firefox is a resource hog, it's still the best browser in my honest opinion. However, I use Apple Safari as my secondary browser. I love the interface for it... and the font smoothing and stuff. It's the prettiest browser, but it isn't necessarily the best.

Really?  I have never encountered a site that I couldn't download files from.

Chrome. Man i feel like there is 1000000000 topics on this.

#27 Posted by Hot_Karl (3309 posts) -

Chrome- it's like Firefox but less cluttered, faster, and crashes like 80% less.

#28 Posted by Thrae (50 posts) -

Firefox has been my main browser for awhile now; mostly due to No Script.

#29 Posted by nanikore (2740 posts) -

Safari.

Internet browser? Hell yeah! Forget the World Web Web, it's all about Gopher support!
#38 Posted by Alexander (1721 posts) -

Chrome. Firefox takes up too much of my screen real estate. If Firefox can release a version with as much space given over to the actual browser window I'd be happy to give them a second chance.

Chrome is kind of nice. I've been using it almost exclusively for the last year or so. It seems to run faster for me.
#40 Posted by MysteriousBob (6272 posts) -

Chrome. Its just faster.

#41 Posted by Tireyo (6413 posts) -

Firefox.

Chrome. I like the minimalist style of it.

I use Chrome for these reasons, just a little simpler and easier.
#44 Posted by JebranRush (36 posts) -

I used to be with Firefox but when Chrome got extensions, I switched over.

So Chrome for me. Speedy and sleek.
