What are you duders favorite makeshift snack? And if it's something you made up or out of the norm go ahead and put down a recipe as well. I would say mine is a grilled cheese sandwhich.
Favorite makeshift snack?
Cheese crackers.
Take some shredded cheese (I like cheddar) and a nonstick pan. Crank the pan on super high heat and put down a layer of your shredded cheese. Cook until it's super crusty on the bottom and most of the moisture has evaporated, then flip it and do the same on the other side. Transfer to a plate with some paper towels, let it cool, and then break it into cracker-sized pieces and enjoy.

Probably the same. Super easy, super quick.
Take a box of salt crackers (my preference are Savoy's.)
Take a block of cheese (hard is better than crumbly, and you should not use Kraft Singles.)
Take one jar of jam (jelly to some I hear, raspberry seems to go quite well but strawberry works too.)
Combine in whatever order you like, and eat.
Keep going until you realise the box is empty, get another, realise what you're doing, don't care, and start again.

Fruit! I usually buy quite a bit and it winds up being a race against time to eat it before it goes bad. Bananas and green grapes are my favorite.
Fruit is great, i usually got for the red or green grapes. But a good apple or a pear will do nicely too.

Whenever my wife makes homemade chili, I get a big bag of tortilla chips and shredded cheese. For the next 3 days I get to eat off of Chili-Cheese Nachos. Mmmmmmmmmm

both of these things sound absolutely delicious and are making me really hungry
Bag of pre-washed green beans and bowl of some teriyaki/soy/sesame sauce to dip them in. Delicious!
Just a fat loaf of soft french bread is good too.
Whats up with all this healthy crap?
My favorite thing to make is a Dorito Sandwich of Pain.
You get bread. Any bread is fine, but I prefer French Bread. Microwave some roast beef and layer that shit on. Add mustard. Lots and lost of mustard. Add some cheese and maybe a little bit of lettuce. Crunch up some Doritos with your hands and put the remains in the sandwich. Pour some BBQ sauce and if you feel up to it some Tobasco sauce. Then sprinkle the opening to the sandwich with Mexican goat cheese and throw that sucker in the oven for 3 minute. Take it out and enjoy the best thing you have ever eaten in your life.

I guess not all of us enjoy type-2 diabetes.
Another one I like to make, usually as a side with dinner but it works between meals too, is take some frozen corn, thaw it, add a little butter, then season it with steak seasoning (my favorite it a garlic-pepper blend). Steak seasoning on corn is the only way to do corn.

Bitch please.
I work out like crazy so I can eat whatever I want. Fuck your steak seasoned corn.
What exactly makes a snack qualify as makeshift? I figured you meant weird things people made up on their own, but then you said grilled cheese. That just seems like a snack to me, not a makeshift one. I'm all confused.
@pyromagnestir: i think it's basically like "well i don't want to go get/order food from anywhere or spend more than 5 minutes making something so i'll just eat x"
i enjoy hummus with whatever bready or vegetable product
While I don't snack, I do breakfast. One of my standard breakfast items is a Wasabi Egg Sandwich.
Toast two slices of whatever bread you like (I usually go with regular plain white wheat toast). Butter them up. Put some Wasabi on each slice. Mix it thoroughly with the butter. Slice a harboilded egg and put it in the sandwhich. Majo. Pickles (usually just regular pickled cucumber, really want to try some pickled ginger though). A couple of drops of low sodium soja sauce. Close up. Half into two triangles. Enjoy a Wasabi brainbuzz.
One evening while I was in a non-sober state I made a quesadilla made of crunchy peanut butter in a whole what wrap cooked in the toaster oven. I then used strawberry jam for dippin'. That was pretty good.
Make a bunch of Nutella toasts or just buttered ones. I make like 10 for the following 30 minutes. Keeps my stomach busy for a few hours :P

dude. Cheese and Crackers is the best snack in the world.
One time I came home really lit and made a Pop-Tart sandwich in an inebriated moment of genius. It was pretty fucking delicious. Just toast two of your favorite kind of Pop-Tarts and make a PB&J sandwich with them.
I've only done it once since then, though, since I usually don't eat a lot of junk food. I always feel like crap afterwards.
Sometimes I'll spread pecans out on a baking pan with a little salt and pepper and roast them for a few minutes in the oven. They're pretty damn tasty, too.
Peanut butter sandwhich with honey.
Peanut butter and jelly sandwhich and have yogurt as a dip for the sandwhich, I find vanilla works.
Beef sandwhich with cheese, steak sauce, and tabasco sauce.
Cereal + berries + honey.
Cereal + yogurt.
That's what I generally try. I usually just look in my fridge combine what I think will be good. Tried a cheese whiz +cheese +mustard sandwhich a few minutes ago. It was...ok.
Spoonful of peanut butter. Good taste, and more importantly, it fills me up fast so I don't end up snacking on a bunch of other shit. I'm also big on keeping frozen fruit around the house - I like the real stuff better, but during the summer, thawing some out with a spoonful of sugar mixed in sure works for me.

this.
I also like some nice fat slices of a big round ripe tomato, drizzled with a little olive oil, sprinkled with some fresh-ground pepper and coarse sea salt, and topped with some feta or goat cheese.
I used to eat very unhealthily, having large bowls of sugary cereal like Cinnamon Toast Crunch and the like just for snacks between meals! I've since changed my ways.

I usually drink a big fat glass of milk when I'm a little hungry but don't feel like cooking, or if it's a while til the next meal.
Hell yeah. I thought I'd be a weirdo saying "A big ass glass of ice cold milk!"
I also like apple slices with thin slices of chedder wrapped around em. Or of course peanut butter.
