My TV has a 48hz setting, as well as 3/2 pull down, for dealing with 1080p24 blurays, and 480i24 DVDs. The TV up converts the 720p60 signal of sports on FOX and ESPN, and does deinterlacing/doubling of 1080i30 sports on NBC/CBS. But what if high budget dramas are recorded on the same film/digital signal as movies are, at 24 frames per second? Should I enable the 48hz mode, or 3/2 pull down when watching scripted TV?

I would imagine you should watch them on the same setting you watch everything else on that channel. Because the signal is the same as any other AMC show.

Most TV and movies are filmed at 24 FPS.
