Moneys a little tight this month so I don't have as much money as I would like to spend on Kindle books, can anybody recommend some good free books?

Stoker's Dracula is free, I believe. I think the original Alice in Wonderland is, too! Pick those up, for sure.

Occurrence at Owl Creek, its about a guy who is put to death in the civil war but he excapes and goes on an adventure.

Check out manybooks.net and Project Gutenberg, I get most of my reading material from those places.
