French Fries or Tater Tots?
I went with tots due to the fact that they come out of the oven nicer than fries which are often very disappointing out of it. Both are good deep fried however. One thing though, tots don't really have to have as much salt, but unsalted or too lightly salted fries are, again, quite disappointing.
I only like french fries from mcdonalds when it's hot and ordered right there, otherwise it will taste like trash when you bring it home. Taters are actually quite good too, that's what I voted for. It's also exactly what I ate yesterday from taco time, really good taters.
What the hell are Tater Tots? I've always been aware of their existence, but never known what they are.
Enlighten me.
So they're kind of like ' croquettes'?
Good tater tots are better than average fries, but any fries, good or bad, are better than average tater tots.
So what's my answer? I don't fucking know.
Tots are better when made at home, so I picked that. Regular fries from restaurants/fast food joints blow them out of the water, though.
Its not just a name difference. Chips are big fat and greasy- much better than puny American "French Fries".
I don't have a god damn clue what "tater tots" are.
" Onion Rings "With fries. That's what I eat when I raid the various munitions shacks that the Burger King has littered across the Earth.
Really good fries beat a tater tot all day. If we're talking out of a bag / frozen, then tater tots win.
" @CandleJakk said:Yeah, but Tater Tots sure do look like giant croutons." @HitmanAgent47: GIANT CROUTONS! Awesome. Looks tasty. "Aren't croutons more like roasted bread rather than something made out of potatoes? "
