Games you sold/traded in/got rid of and regretted it

During April Vacation of this year, I finally got Bioshock after wanting to play it for two years and never getting around to it. 5 days later, I traded it in for Left 4 Dead. I'm not saying that Left 4 Dead isn't a good game, but I am regretting getting rid of that game.

I traded in my 64 with a ton of games for it a while ago and have regretted it ever since.

Bioshock and NBA Street: Homecourt. After trading them in, I didn't really feel bad immediately, but after a few months I got a strong urge to replay the games again and regretted ever trading them in. However, these are extreme special cases. I usually trade in games without ever looking back or regretting the act.

Pikmin and Castlevania: Circle of the Moon

MGS Rising, I loved that game with all my heart, but then I wanted to get Grand Turismo 5.

FFX-2... Funny thing is i didn't really trade it in, more that i accidentally left it at the counter of gamestop when i traded it in with other games and decided not to trade it in. I still need to finish it.

Only game I ever traded in: Advance Wars Dual Strike. I have regretted this move ever since...

Marvel Ultimate Alliance, I traded it in for Viva Pinata. When I put in Viva Pinata, my 360 got red rings...

Recently sold my Damn-near-Mint original pressing of Desert Strike for the Commodore Amiga. What the hell was I thinking? Other than that possibly "Star Wars masters or Teras Kasi" for the ps1 I miss the fact I could take control of Han Solo and beat the living piss out of Luke.

The original Fable i only beat it once and only played the good side. I only got to replay it when i bought it online from the XBLA so i was mad at myself for a long time.

I get too attatched to my games and can't really trade them in, there are a few recently that I've been thinking about trading in though, let's hope I don't end up crying my eyes out when I miss those guys.. *sniffle*

my entire PS2 collection (1st rendition).  I had to sell it since me and my brother got a PS2 together for x-mas one year and then when he moved out he took it with him and I was stuck with 2 options 1. keep the games not knowing if I'll ever play them again or 2. sell them and get money for some new xbox games...since I've gotten a new PS2 and about 30+ games for it along the way, but the shittiest part is that my brother sold the original PS2 2 months after he insisted on having it...god that pissed me off.

About a year ago, I traded in about 10 games that I KNEW FOR A FACT I wouldn't ever play again.  I have never even once since that time, had the urge to play those games, but I still regret giving them to Gamestop for what might as well have been free.

I gave my Comanche gold away and regretted it for a long time after.

I traded in my Gamecube with about 15 games. The only game I really miss is Wind Waker...

I don't strongly miss any of the games I traded in or sold over the years.

I regret how stupidly I traded stuff in though.  Between buying stuff and trading it in and buying it again I wasted easily over $1000...

• Gears of War 2. I traded it in. Mostly in disgust from the MP. But now that they are having the weekend stuff (a la Halo 3) it's very tempting to buy it for a third time...
• Diablo II. I miss it so much. I love you Baal!

I'm still kicking myself for what I ended up getting rid of in the last month.  I had someone double charge my card and throw it completely into overdraft right before rent was due, so what was the option?  Sell the following:

SMT: Nocturne (w/soundtrack)
SMT: DDS (1 and 2 with soundtrack and box)

SMT: Devil Summoner 1 & 2 & Raiho doll

Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness

Still fighting with the company to reverse the charges nearly three weeks later too...

Turok Rage Wars is the only game I remember selling that was mine. Terrible game, but I miss it. Actually kinda sad they went through with it too. Fun game to play anyway. Real mindless shooter. Man I miss Acclaim... (I think) or the Iguana...

All of my SNES games.  I want to play Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (it's actually a fun game, and I had the Game Gear version too) and Maximum Carnage + many great others again :'(

I traded in Gears of War 2 Limited Edition and Chronicles of Riddick about a month ago, because I was low on cash and got just £20 for both.

my eyetoy, I got ripped of at a trade in store, I sold it to them for 10 dollars because I thought I didn't want it anymore.... it costed me 100$....

The Darkness and Metal Gear Solid... really regret it!

I actually have more games that I regret buying than regret selling.  There's about 10 on my shelf that I regret ever buying, but I can't think of too many that I wish I didn't sell.

None, I never sell any game unless I really hate it. I know I'd just regret it later on and want to play it just because I can't, haha.

My DS lite and all of my games for a PSP, which I returned 4 days later for a full refund. Still without a DS afterwards.

I sold Chrono Trigger 10 years ago to buy Goldeneye.

I'm still kind of bummed about that.

I was having a lot of fun with halo 5 but i traded it in for moder warfare 4. no really i traded in halo 3 and now i regreat it
