UPDATE

We just got him yesterday, he is so cute. Still need to name him.

I think we've narrowed it to Harry, Eddie, or Chester though I am still open to suggestions.

Here's a picture:

ORIGINAL POST

I'll be getting a new Schnauzer puppy soon and I need a good name for him.

Here's some I have so far:

Chester, Oscar, Cooper, Odin, Baxter, Murphy, Dexter, Seamus, Henry, Barney and Rorie :)

Any input would be good, you can take it from any source, anything you think will suit himIf you need inspiration here's a picture of all the schnauzer puppies.

I love creating warrior names :]

Here's some for black cats dogs:

Nightshade // Nightriver // Nightfall // Nightfire // Nighthunter // Shadowskin

Shadowlily // Shadowrose // Shadoworchid // Shadowbird // Shadowstorm

Nightstorm // Nightbird // Fallenshadow // Nightwing

P.S. Shoutout to My Brother, My Brother, and Me.

Well, you just broke the puppy rating system - I hope you're pleased with yourself.

I vote Gnarls, Stirling or Merlin.

That's the reason it's on the list, also I'll have to convince my housemates.

Rorie is the best name for a dog. Because Dogs are the best for Rorie.

That would be awesome but I'm getting no love from my housemates (who don't play video games).

I suggested Shep

For the longest time, I was obsessed with naming a kitten Pac-man. Finally we got a kitten. It was a girl. And thus, Ms. Pac-man was welcomed to our home.

Dexter is a pretty cute name for a Schnauzer. Is it a regular one or a minature?

Hoss, i like Hoss. Maybe not a fitting name for a Schnauzer though.

Because of your avatar. Maybe it's destiny. Also, they're both black.

No good reason, really

Use the "Image Way to GRITTY Comic Book Character Names": pick something related to violence (blood, gore, death, massacre, war, rape, etc.), then pick something completely unrelated to the first word (stool, whistleblower, barracuda, path, etc.). Combine them and presto. Image Puppy.

I vote for GenocideRorie. Or just Rorie.

In celebration of the upcoming release of Dragon's Dogma, call the puppy Dogma.

I like naming my pets with other animal names or really upper class names.

So things like:

Cat, monkey, donkey etc.

or

Tarquin, Archibald, Humphrey etc.

My wife and I have a Mini Schnauzer (Simon) and a Pug (Remington). Minis are dope, but regular Schnauzers are great too. Pretty smart and playful, albeit stubborn.

That being said, I elect the name Belvinhoe.

"Harlan" after Harlan Ellision who wrote A Boy and His Dog (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Boy_and_His_Dog). Since the dog in that is named "blood" which really isn't that great.
