As someone who does not care about football, but does not like the Patriots on the basis of being raised in a Giants house, and the Patriots being a bunch of cheating jerks, I am pleased.

Glad to see the Patriots go down at home, but I think the Steelers will beat the Jets next week (so long as they don't implode like they did in 1st half against the Ravens) and it will be the Steelers and Packers in Super Bowl XLV in Dallas on February 6th.

I hate the Patriots, so seeing the Jets win it is nice.  At the same time, I'm not going to sit here and pretend that Tom Brady isn't a modern legend in football by degrading him.  I'm just glad that the dynasty isn't going to see a bowl for, what, the third or fourth year in a row or something?

My Pats did not play well yesterday. But they'll be fine. With three picks out of the first thirty three, the Pats will be right back up there. Plus, as that defense and offense gets more experience, they can only get better.
