Giant Bomb Fantasy Baseball League?

Anyone planning to host a GB fantasy baseball league? I'd be interested in playing, but I don't necessarily want to GM as I've never played all that much. I won two random fantasy football leagues this past season, though I think it's because half the people joined and never actually participated.

Just wondered.

I'd be interested in a not head to head league (just ranking by categories) since head to head only works well for football. Nice non sequitor about fantasy football though, that added nothing to the discussion at all. I love me some baseball and enjoy the schadenfreude of watching Lincecum decline. Zito for Cy Young, Pirates are going to win the World Series, and A-Rod will hit 75 homers in 50 games.

I'm saying I don't want to join some random ESPN league because no one ever plays and that's why it was so easy to win.

Well it's not like football so one pickup or one injury isn't going to be catastrophic, and conversely most competent players will be autodrafted and sit there on the non participants' teams. But ultimately if it's not a head to head league you can just compare how well your team is doing to other leagues. Football has a number of randomly good seasons from veterans/new players with some frequency but baseball is pretty reliably predictable (which granted makes fantasy much less interesting); Trout's season last year was ridiculous to be sure but you not having a few good closers or something could easily lose a league that you had Trout in. There's no LT potentiality in baseball (except maybe Bonds 2001-2004, that's not happening for another 50-100 years though)

I can commish a fantasy baseball league, although I only do head to head. I've been running a league with some work guys for 3 years now. Anyone interested?
