I thought it would be cool to have a new pets thread, so let's see what you got.

This is my dog Tali.  She is a dachshund, and is only about 5 months old.

Here's my 11 year old cat, Sassy. She's cute as hell, but she constantly meows loudly for attention while I'm at home working.

Red one is unfortunately dead (got hit by a car), but his mom is still alive and well. And fat. And lazy.

Bairn?

Hey yeah that's me with my dog in 2005. No more recent pics on my PC ATM.

I miss my dog. I'm in a new city on business and will be here for a few months. Bairn is 14 years old and staying with my parents in another state because this apartment doesn't allow dogs. I miss em. :( But he'll be around tomorrow as my parents are coming up for the holidays!  But when they leave and take him back, I don't know if I'll get to see him again. He's very old. :(

Put it this way...I had Bairn before I met my ex-wife. :p Shows who's more loyal, hunh?

She died earlier in the year from a seizure that caused her brain to stop working properly and I had to have her put down as she basically became brain dead after her last attack. She was in her late teens in human years, so she lived a long life. I just wish it was longer.

Her name was Flower. My mom was expecting me to call her killer or monster or something like that, so she was rather surprised to say the least when I told her I wanted to name her Flower. I remember her asking me why I called her that, and I said that it was because she was more beautiful then a flower and that to name her after just one flower wouldn't do her justice. So instead I would just call her flower because she was as beautiful as every kind of flower in the world combined.

You realise 'kitten' isn't the word for a female cat, right? 0_0
#33 Posted by CandleJakk (766 posts) -

 Montmorency, or Monty for short.
And a cookie to anyone who recognises where the name comes from.

Tillie - Beagle/Shelty
This was taken when she was 3 or 4.  She's almost 7 now, but she looks almost exactly the same.  Funniest little dog I've ever seen...  She has so many weird habits and quirks, and you never know what she's going to do next.  I know it's a cliche, but she's undoubtedly the best friend I've ever had.

Layla. She looks cute, but she is so young and strong willed. Pisses and poops everywhere! We're crate training her but damn she is a handful.

Only pictures I have are from Christmas (all 3 are dachsunds)

Milo, moments before attempting to eat his hat

Charlie, unfortunately dying of cancer, but still stylin' in his sweater-sleeve shirt

Merry, dumb and not photogenic at all.
There's also a cat and a parrot, but the cat is really mean, and I don't like the bird.
