First of all, welcome to the official Giant Bomb Twitter thread (2.0). Matty gave me his permission to update this thread, and I've been planning to get more involved in this community, so this is my way of doing so. First of all, I want to point out that I am doing this of my own free will, and that it will take time to complete. I'm planning to add everyone who put their username in the previous thread on here, so it will take me some time. Please, don't get annoyed if I have not added you within a certain period of time. I have a life outside of GiantBomb, I have other things to do. Expect the majority of work to take place over the weekend and my free time. I do not know how long I will continue to update this for, but I shall give it my all. Now, onwards with the actual Twitter part of this.
Twitter: The n00b's guide
Twitter is a social networking site (like Facebook and MySpace, without the garish customisation), which allows users to post 'tweets'. Think of the status update from Facebook, add in more features such as retweeting that update, and then think of a completely different API. The simple fact of the matter is that Twitter has generated a lot of publicity recently, and a lot of news hits Twitter before anywhere else.
