Giantbomb giving emails to T-Shirt manufacturer?

Howdy. I might have to break out my tin-foil hat, but I think that Giant Bomb might have given out the emails of people who subscribed to the t-shirt vendor.
 
I got this email from some site I've never been to called "Tee-wholesale".

I have yet to get an email like that.  It might just be a spam email sent to you by some random company.

I didn't get any such email, and I doubt this was the cause of Whiskey Media. Also, I believe they used American Apparel as their T-shirt manufacturer. 

O man...controversy...I haven't gotten it, but I'm also monthly so I was never involved TShirt-wise...
But since you asked for a theory:  One night 2 weeks ago while perusing your local Subway for various sandwich toppings, you checked an email via your cellphone, while checking this the gentleman behind you a one "J. Smith - Associate of T-Shirt FoLifeYo" spotted your email address over your shoulder.
 
Or the tinfoil GBomb thing, I like mine better though.
