Guys, I am in awe right now
"Man, I'm eating some ice cream while listening to this, and I never thought eating ice cream could feel this epic."
Hahaha, yeah, ANYTHING can be epic now
I need an MP3
I never thought of it that way. If you listen to the music and stare at a random object really hard, magic things happen.
I always found it funny that the music we call epic is always the simplest when it comes to individual parts.
"I always found it funny that the music we call epic is always the simplest when it comes to individual parts."To me epic music must be instrumental, with grand sweeping sounds, crescendo's and moments of slower pace, and then sudden bursts of speed. They need to make you feel an emotion. Pirates of the Caribbean is still my favorite theme in that respect.

While listening to that compilation in the original post, for the first 4 or so minutes, I was sick of every one of those being overplayed and now devalued pieces of music, then the MGS2 theme came on and it enforced how amazing that piece of music is. It also brought back memories, all these months on, of how I was mad pissed off when it wasn't used in MGS4. Particularly at some of the more epic and bombastic moments.
