Haircut? Or hair, cut.
Having just returned from getting my hair cut, I'm now wondering:
Do you get haircuts? Or do you get your hair cut?
That is, do you have a style you maintain, or do you -like me- simply cut your hair when it gets too long?
EDIT: They need to implement a way to attach a post to a poll. Otherwise @SexyToad messes with my poll's feng shui.
I just get it cut when it's too long. I never tell barber to give me any specific style, it always just confuses them, the poor things.
When I get a haircut I usually get it dyed (vibrant red right now), washed, get layers put in, have it thinned out and get my fringe shortened a bit. So yes, I have a style I maintain :D
Hair-Cut.
Edit: OH! Okay, no I just get it cut. I think about getting a style sometimes but most of the ones I like friends already have plus, too much work.
"Hair, cut" Is telling your hair to do something. Bayonetta much?
A haircut is what you call it when you get your hair cut. One is a noun, one is an action that you do. I think. At 1:30 AM, my grammar might not be so spot-on, so excuse me if I'm wrong.
EDIT: Ah shit, I completely missed the point. Anyway, I get my hair cut. My hair is chaotic neutral in that it doesn't want to hurt anyone, but it will not follow any orders given to it. Lay this way? Nope! That way? Nope! Stay where I put you? Nope! Maybe flat, at least? Nah!
It's usually fine at the beginning of the day but I almost always carry a hat because by the middle of the day it looks like I've just crawled out of bed. No matter what I do differently, this never has changed.
I shave my own head with clippers; usually on 3/8 inch and sometimes on 1/2 inch. I wait till my hair gets about an inch and a half long at most before cutting it.
