I've only just realised how I've not touched a game that I love in ages.

Not even the multiplayer.

I've decided now to try and get the achievements all wrapped up so that I can get some closure and then move on to another part of the universe.

I remember the achievements in Halo 3 being difficult.

Good luck with that - some of those achievements for the multiplayer are devilishly difficult.

Two For One is the main offender - getting a Double Kill with the Spartan Laser on the Free For All playlist.

I've done that twice!

People certainly have it, but it is a bit infamous for being very luck based unless people boosts it.

Is it weird to have nostalgia for a game that's not even 5 years old? Because goddamn, I have it bad for Halo 3.

@Three0neFive: I know what you mean. I was just listening to the Bungie podcast and it's made me come back to this again and realise that I still have some unfinished business.

I kid you not when I say, if memory serves, that was the first achievement I got in that game.

EDIT: I just went through and as far as I can tell it was the first achievement I got after I left that starters playlist thing a few days after campaign.

Not at all. The multiplayer is dying these days, though, so if you want to get some games in it's probably a good time to do that now. I also miss running home from school and playing Halo 3 all night with friends, there was just so much stuff to do in that game.

I wish they'd release this game on PC so it could have a long-term community like the first Halo PC does. People still play that online.

Love Halo 3. Played a bit a couple months ago and it is still a great time.
