Happy Easter!

So, tomorrow is Easter. Some of you celebrate it for religious reasons, some of you for mammal related reasons, and I'm sure others have spring break, or it's just the weekend. Whatever the case, I think we can all agree that Sunday will be a great day for bird shaped marshmallows and painted eggs.

May visit relatives, it depends on my mood.

Anyone else ever get nice Easter presents as a kid?  Got Super Mario Land and Shadowgate on Easter.

Trying to dodge my way out of a house full of 8 loud hyper kids by going to work.

I didn't know that Bush Jr. was a furry, it all makes sense now.

Nothing special, or nothing that I know of. All I know is Spring Break brings April very close to ending, and my birthday draws nearer.

My family's not really religious, and none of us are kids anymore, so it's just gonna be eating chocolate really.

Well, I guess we have another reason Bush sucked: extramarital affairs :P.

I might be going up to my nans place later, and see a bunch of my family. I'll probably be staying over for the night.

I feel like i've grown out of easter eggs, the chocolate variety that is. I've never really seen painted eggs over here in the UK. I'm grateful of course, but they seem like a chore to get through sometimes.

As usual, Easter is a great excuse for me to buy candy and cook a ham. Maybe I can try actual scalloped potatoes this year instead of mix from a box.

Easter is a lie

Visiting relatives on Sunday. Should be ok, as good food will be plentiful, and the children hunt plastic eggs with a couple bucks in them, so I can snatch a few of those aswell. ;)

Going to be painting (or coloring rather) some eggs! Then eating a nice big honey baked ham! Mmm mmm!

Playing SSBB with my friends and prepare for an exam-filled week...that's pretty much it.

I go to my family's house. We hunt Easter Eggs with the kids and then play some games. Wiffleball is one game, but my favorite is croquet. I always set up the course, it's a lot of fun. This Easter is special, because my mother just got diagnosed with lung and brain cancer two weeks ago. I hope she feels better tomorrow. Have a good one everyone.

I was over in Australia during Easter, which was interesting. Interesting to note that they celebrate Easter the same way we do, commemorating the death and resurrection of Jesus by telling our children that a giant bunny rabbit left chocolate eggs in the night.

Now, I wonder why we're fucked up as a race, anybody? Anybody got any clues out there? Where do you get this shit from, y'know? Why those two things, y'know? Why not goldfish left Lincoln Logs in your sock drawer, y'know? As long as we're making shit up, go hogwild, y'know. At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on it's back going across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Who comes up with this shit? I've read the Bible, I can't find the word `chocolate` or `bunny` anywhere in that fucking book. D'ya all have different books of the Bible than I do? Are y'all Gideons? Who are the fucking Gideons? Ever met one? No! Ever seen one? No! But they're all over the fucking world, putting Bibles in hotel rooms.

Every hotel room; `this Bible was placed here by a Gideon`. When? I've been here all day, I 'aint seen shit. I saw the housekeeper come and go, I saw the mini-bar guy come and go, I've never laid eyes on a fucking Gideon! What are they, ninjas? Where are they? Where are they from? Gidea? WHAT THE FUCK ARE THESE PEOPLE?

I'm gonna capture a Gideon. I'm gonna make that my hobby. I am, I'll call the front desk one day, `Yeah, I don't seem to have a Bible in my room.` Lay some traps.

My sister and nephew are coming over to eat dinner. Yay Ham!  We'll also  probaly have a easter egg hunt going or something. Maybe paint eggs too.
