OMAR VS. WALT
Help Me Solve An Argument: What's The Better TV Show?
A better question would be "Who's actually seen The Wire?" because Breaking Bad is current most people are watching it. It's like when GOTY rolls around, everyone forgets the games that came out in Jan (apart from ME2).
Breaking Bad is the most amazing show I've ever watched. And I don't get people who say Dexter. Last season was awful.
@Pr1mus: Then we both think that it had at least 1 bad season. So far Breaking Bad has been amazing non-stop.
I'm in the early minority it seems but I think The Wire is the greatest piece of fiction I've ever seen put to film.
Out of those two i'd say The Wire.
Although i don't think it's the best show ever like a lot of people say it is. I preferred Deadwood and even Rome over the Wire.
I really used to think the Wire was the pinacle of pure awesomeness. I still like it a lot, but Breaking Bad is a better TV Show. It uses the strengths of the medium much more effectively, the dialogue is a lot stronger, and as much as I love Omar, Bunk and the like, no one can really hold a candle to Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, and Giancarlo Esposito.
The first 2-3 seasons of Dexter were magical, but how they have since ran the show into the ground makes me want to give the nod to Breaking Bad.
You guys fucking sicken me! How in hell is Breaking Bad beating The Wire? The Wire was--and still is--bloody magical and hasn't been matched by any TV show (Oz is close, though), to date. I like Breaking Bad, but it's far from being in the same league as the Wire; I get the feeling that a lot of people just haven't actually seen The Wire. For shame!

People who vote for Breaking Bad haven't seen The Wire.
I want to empty quote this forever.
