help, movie genre, crazy nights? - Off-Topic

Hey I'm pretty sure there is a term for this genre, but I can't quite remember or pin down what to call it.

The movies I'm thinking of are the ones where: X and friends do some crazy shit, can't remember what they did, hilarity ensues as they figure out what they did.

The bad thing is, I don't even watch these kinds of movies, so I can't think of any movies off the top of my head to search for... I'm trying to write something where I reference this 'genre' to give a comparison. So, help! If anyone knows the term for this 'genre' it would be a great help.

Edit: alright if it helps, something like Hangover? I think?

@SgtSphynx: Yes, movies like that, I swear there is a specific genre name for those types or movies, or at least a more concise way of describing those kinds of movies. =\
