How come Jeff Gerstmann gets his own Wikipedia page...?
Ryan Davis is not a real person. He's sort of like the doctor from Star Trek Voyager who was a hologram.
Because Wikipedia has arbitrary rules for what is "notable" enough to go on their site, even though Wikipedia has essentially unlimited space for for pages.
" @AlexMarra said:Fixed?" @JJWeatherman: No, I do believe Ryan Davis did in fact have his own Wikipedia page at one point, but it's not there anymore. "Hmm... Well, my guess is that Jeff has a public history behind and Ryan does not. That's my guess to why Jeff has a page and Ryan does not. "
" Ryan Davis is not a real person. He's sort of like the doctor from Star Trek Voyager who was a hologram. "I always suspected as much.
" Because Wikipedia has arbitrary rules for what is "notable" enough to go on their site, even though Wikipedia has essentially unlimited space for for pages. "So that means wiki has something against Ryan but not Jeff for some reason.
And most people are to lazy/busy/in stasis to do that..... hence no page. It's not a matter of notability guidelines.... geeze... .there are some really non-notable people on wiki...." @HODGEY3000 said:
" why doesnt someone make one for ryan "It has to be full of noteworthy content and properly cited and everything or Wikipedia will just delete it. "
