Ryan Davis is not a real person.  He's sort of like the doctor from Star Trek Voyager who was a hologram.

Hmm...  Well, my guess is that Jeff has a history behind and Ryan does not.  That's my guess to why Jeff has a page and Ryan does not.

He might not have one on Wikipedia, but he definitely has one on Giant Bomb's wiki...

Because Wikipedia has arbitrary rules for what is "notable" enough to go on their site, even though Wikipedia has essentially unlimited space for for pages.

Maybe Ryan didn't want the attent.. who am I kidding? I don't know.
#13 Posted by Mushir (2389 posts) -

Jeff had a lot of controversy behind him when he left Gamespot. I'm guessing that's what warranted him to have a Wikipedia page.

So that means wiki has something against Ryan but not Jeff for some reason.

Because Jeff meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines and Ryan doesn't. Simple.

It has to be full of noteworthy content and properly cited and everything or Wikipedia will just delete it.

And most people are to lazy/busy/in stasis to do that..... hence no page. It's not a matter of notability guidelines.... geeze... .there are some really non-notable people on wiki....

Ryan is probably not notable. Jeff is.

#24 Posted by HandsomeDead (11863 posts) -

Because unlike Jeff, Ryan's Ruff, Tuff and Dangerous.

You have to have been credited in a game, even if it was for absolutely nothing at all.

he is god.

#27 Posted by Cube (4366 posts) -

Not only does Ryan not meet qualifications, but he doesn't deserve one.

Close enough?

As you can see, most of Jeff's page is about his Gamespot involvement, plus notable media appearances. Ryan just wasn't STICKIN' IT TO DA MAN enough :P
