Pasta is served on a plate and noodles are served on a bowl. End of discussion.

#7 Posted by Kidavenger (3502 posts) -

What kind of pasta are you putting in a bowl?

Kraft dinner....

I haven't had Kraft dinner in years...

I should get some...

No...

#8 Posted by gamefreak9 (2338 posts) -

Don't really care but the sauce stays better in the bowl. Though depends on the sauce.

#9 Posted by OllyOxenFree (4970 posts) -

Don't care. It's all going in the same place.

Pasta is a plate meal.

But do whatever you want. I don't care. Fuck.

How is this not a choice on the poll?
#17 Posted by RazielCuts (2923 posts) -

Hmmm I've never thought about plate vs bowl, I usually go plate. I thought it was going to be a wet vs dry thang and I'm allll wet, baby.

#18 Posted by j0lter (225 posts) -

I always do bowl, seems more logical to me.

#19 Posted by ShadowConqueror (3050 posts) -

In the garbage. Fuck pasta.

#20 Posted by insane_shadowblade85 (1388 posts) -

I like my pasta delicious.

#21 Posted by Zelyre (1117 posts) -

Depends on the kind of pasta.

Al-dente. I'm not eating crunch sticks or mush.

It all depends on the sauce and how its made.

For something like spaghetti aglio olio e peperoncino, I like serving that on a plate. I usually put big shrimp in it. Its easy to get off the plate and into your mouth. Lasagna goes on a plate.

For a sauce with ground meat, I like serving that in a pasta bowl, as I find it impossible to get all the sauce goodness into one's mouth from a plate.

#22 Posted by PenguinDust (12450 posts) -

First thing I thought of.

@ShadowConqueror:

Anyway, I like spaghetti and similar pastas Al-dente, but macaroni, ziti, etc...a little softer. Anything with a stuffing should also be a bit soft. Under-cooked pasta is too chewy and pasty. I find that worse than over-cooked pasta.

#23 Posted by Redbullet685 (6024 posts) -

Either really.

#24 Posted by chocolaterhinovampire (1287 posts) -

I like my pasta on a plate. I am no savage so fuck bowl based pasta.

#25 Posted by UitDeToekomst (702 posts) -

With the exception of lasagna or something like that, I tend to go with a bowl. I can't imagine eating many varieties of pasta without the side support that a bowl provides.

The title is very deceiving. Anyway I like it pasta on a plate. I'm no animal.

#29 Posted by WickedFather (1730 posts) -

I like my pasta like I like my men. Given a hot bath and then tossed with butter and sucked either end by cartoon dogs until they kiss. Awwww.

#30 Posted by Silvergun (297 posts) -

Weird, I was just thinking of making spaghetti for dinner, and then I come upon this thread.

Said spaghetti is going on a plate, mainly so the garlic bread has somewhere to sit.

#31 Posted by procrasturbate (277 posts) -

Depends on the pasta you're making. And it matters.

#32 Posted by procrasturbate (277 posts) -

@Zelyre: Couldn't write it better! This!

#33 Posted by 49th (2686 posts) -

On a plate and prepared by a 90 year, 3 foot tall, old Italian woman with a flat cap and a mustache.

If it's just pasta and sauce, then in a bowl. If it's used as a bed for a piece of meat or is otherwise not the main course itself, then on a plate. And by bowl, I mean the wide ones with shallow angles to the rim.

#38 Posted by wrecks (2205 posts) -

Hot and covered in sauce. Receptacle don't matter.

#39 Posted by Gamer_152 (14051 posts) -

I'm fine with either, but I prefer plate.

Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss...

As to the question at hand, does it make a difference? It's not the plate or bowl I'm eating, after all.

Creepy.

Shameful addictions to poorly written internet horror aside, it doesn't matter. It all tastes the same going down.

It should be in a bowl for convenience if nothing else

I went with plate in my vote because I wanted to feel fancy. Sure, out in a restaurant it is going to be served on a plate, but at home give me a fucking bowl that I can just hold under my food hole and shovel shit into.
