Zero. Tea only.

#3 Posted by ManlyBeast (994 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

none

#4 Posted by TruthTellah (3488 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

I take my tea straight. No need to sully it with any tag-along treats.

I don't even know what a biscuit qualifies as and I'm sure the tea I drink on occasion is probably horrible to you.... sooooo none?

#6 Posted by Hizang (8536 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

I'm disappointed so far, biscuits are made 100$ better than tea.

#7 Edited by mlarrabee (1751 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

I make tea by the cup but I drink it by the gallon. I've no time for milk, lemon, or biscuits.

EDIT: I've never tasted a 100 dollar biscuit, but I imagine it would be breathtaking. Maybe I should try the combination more often.

#8 Posted by Funkydupe (2918 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

I wish I didn't drink tea. Which I actually don't, and that's pretty cool!

#9 Posted by TruthTellah (3488 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

Hey now, that's a different story. I would eat the heck out of a $100 biscuit.

You just seemed to be asking about our normal habits, and in general, I can't afford the primo biscuits you apparently enjoy.

#10 Edited by Hizang (8536 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

@TruthTellah: @mlarrabee: @Franstone: I should point out to all people not in Europe, this is a biscuit.

#11 Posted by John1912 (1545 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

I dont drink tea. As an American I dont think its very common to eat cookies with tea.

#12 Posted by TruthTellah (3488 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

@Hizang: heh. I am familiar with a biscuit.

But, considering I drink tea as a healthy alternative to soda, adding biscuits to it has never really made sense for me.

#13 Posted by Colourful_Hippie (2611 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

Zero cuz fuck tea.

#14 Posted by Cloudenvy (5728 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

No biscuits with my tea! I've never really seen the point of it, biscuits is something I eat as a quick snack or something.

I'm diabetic, so none for me. I do drink about 5 liters of tea a day though.

Like about 50.

#18 Posted by wewantsthering (1292 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

This is what Americans think when you say biscuit. That's why we say no to biscuits with our tea...

#19 Posted by RPGee (689 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

I enjoy a nice simple biscuit with my tea, but usually I don't have anything. Mostly because I drink herbal tea, and sugar does not appear to taste good when mixed with antioxidants.

Can't wait til the coffee fanboys tear apart this thread.

#21 Posted by Cold_Wolven (1688 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

I don't drink Tea, I drink Mocha and at most I'll have is 2 biscuits with it. I usually have the Arnotts milk biscuits that I can dunk in my Mocha.

#22 Edited by NTM (6419 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

@wewantsthering: I'm pretty sure we'd say no to the other kind as well; that's like eating a cracker with a cup of tea.

Two usually. Scotch Fingers or something similar.

#25 Posted by Hunter5024 (2691 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

I thought that European biscuits were what Americans would call cookies, and am extraordinarily disappointed to learn that they are more like crackers. Anyways I think that bready things are only good with hot drinks, and because I live in a desert I typically avoid hot drinks even in winter. The tea I drink is a summer beverage that is heavily iced, and eating a biscuit with that would be counter productive.

#26 Posted by M_Shini (481 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

I have to be in a biscuit dunking mood and if i have i take a whole packet with me until im satisfied and wash it down with the remaining tea when im done, ive tried it with coffee too and that's fine too, i'm ussaly eating Rich Tea biscuits or sometimes Digestives if i have them around.

#27 Posted by Sayishere (1823 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

I eat like 1-3, sometimes i eat 4! depends. Trying to cut down though, not as if biscuits are nutritious. I usually just drink tea straight though/

#28 Posted by Sanity (1506 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

I like tea, but im more of a toast guy myself.

#29 Posted by TMBaker (144 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

I'm more of a banana bread kinda of guy with my hot beverages.

You can rest assured that Rich Tea biscuits aren't similar to crackers in any way. Fuck crackers.

#31 Posted by RupertTheBear (58 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

I usually have a biscotti in a cafe with friends or eat a donut at a coffee shop. but when im at home i usually drink tea straight up.

#32 Posted by Hunter5024 (2691 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

@mandude: Thank god. Then I'll have to try this hot tea and biscuit business the next time I am somewhere cold.

Are they just like our 'scones'? I used to think so, but hearing talk about biscuits and gravy it makes me think not.

The idea of having gravy with a scone seems totally unnatural.

I've never liked tea, it just seems like a really dull drink to me.

Just tea, man. Tea solves everything.

#36 Posted by Beaker (82 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

0. Unless I have a pack of chocolate biscuits, in which case it's game on.

#37 Posted by Sanj (1976 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

I usually only have biscuits and tea in the mornings. It used to be just a couple McVities Rich Tea biscuits, but I've since moved on to these bad boys:

Hard-fucking-core.

#38 Posted by TaliciaDragonsong (8670 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

Two usually.

#39 Posted by ShadowConqueror (2560 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

American biscuits are not to be accompanied by tea.

#40 Posted by Danteveli (797 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

If I would go with statistics it would be like 0,0000000001 or something since I drink a lot of tea (including the green one and all that weird Chinese crap) but I take biscuits only occasionally.

#41 Posted by Grissefar (2337 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

No crackers, of course, but I will often have a knækbrød with something, and perhaps a carrot. That brings me to an important point: why the fuck is christmas tea only for sale during the holiday? It's arguably the best tea, sort of like drinking a candy, but healthy.

#42 Posted by Village_Guy (2090 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

Once in a while I'll have a biscuit to my tea, but more often than not I won't.

#43 Posted by Fattony12000 (4377 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

Rich Teas ain't worth a single damn for dunking.

#44 Posted by skooks (46 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

Zero. I also don't drink tea. Blasphemy, I know.

#45 Posted by Splodge (432 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

Tea is the fuckin business. A jaffa cake? A ginger nut?

Baller.

#46 Posted by Pezen (1017 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

I used to eat chinese rice crackers with my tea. Biscuits seem really dull.

#47 Posted by Alpha1 (246 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

I use to dip bourbon biscuits in orange juice.

#48 Posted by UlquioKani (837 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

Tea with a piece of toast on the morning. Most of the time on it's own. Rarely with biscuits

#49 Posted by believer258 (7830 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

None, I'm American.

#50 Edited by Humanity (4222 posts) - 3 months, 23 days ago

If only Ken Levine had this data a few months back he could have constructed a more realistic depiction of biscuit consumption in Infinity now that game is fucked
