The results make me afraid. And like 90% do it once a day! I guess I'm just crazy. But seriously, if you have time, shower. Feels good, attracts the lads and lasses (both during and after the shower, depending on your situation), keeps you from getting sick. Sleeping can be a pretty dirty process (not like that), and typically an average day results in enough activity to get you dirty. So by that logic, if you have time, you should probably wash after sleeping, and after a day of activity. And if you work out, a shower right after is usually welcomed by just about everyone.

Every few days. Showering everyday super dries out my skin and really is just kind of a waste. Your body overcompensates for the lost oils if you shower all of the time so that's why you feel so gross if you usually shower daily and then miss a day; your body is producing more oils than it would if you weren't washing them away. I'm also a lazy hippy so you know :P
Usually twice daily. Wake up and before bed/after workout. I wish I could say I was shocked by these results. I work with several people who smell and find personal upkeep optional at best. I guess it should come as no shock considering the majority of these people think sweat pants + flip flops/sandals with socks are acceptable in ANY work environment. The breathe on these people also leaves much to be desired. When I have to wonder if the cafe is serving shit sandwhiches BOGO you know you are in for a rough day.

I have a roommate who stinks to high heaven and I'm not a big enough of a dick to tell him to fucking do something about his stench. That depends on more than just when and how often you shower. Some people start smelling like shit 5 minutes after leaving the bathroom.
Trust me, if someone had a problem with me not taking showers every day; they'd fucking tell me.
Usually one or two times a day. I always shower before I go to class and then many times I work out in the afternoon before work so I shower again after that and before work.
So two times a day often, but not every day. Other days are just one. Really depends on what I am doing that day.
To those of you who shower 2-3+ times a day, I'd hate to tell you, but showering that much is bad for your skin and your health. The natural oils and stuff on your skin you wash off when showering are there for a reason. They are part of the immune defense, and helps keep in the moisture of the skin. And also, like someone else already mentioned, if you keep washing it off, the skin overcompensates, and you just become even greasier.
Edit: Maybe not with just 2 showers a day, but you can definitely overdo it.
Twice a day. Summer in Spain is so hot you have to wash the sweat off and Winters in the Alps are so cold that the heat from the shower is good to keep you going first thing and before you go out at night.
Every other day. Unless I get sweaty enough from work or something. People who do it twice should be ashamed of themselves. I hope you guys aren't for saving the evironment because you're using a hell of a lot of water showering 2 times a day. You're using like at least 16 gallons of water a day. How would you all have survived when bathing happened a lot less frequently and in some kind of hidden lake or at a whore house? That and what CL60 said too, bad for you're skin and hair to wash tha much.

hahah that was hilarious, but not how it is for me
i get up, sit on the chair immediately (next to bed), turn on PC monitor, double click on game icon, wait a bit for it to load, and enjoy a great single player session for hours with my hands resting on a desk

Just a jest to provoke an emotional reaction, my friend. A bit like a spiritual Voight-Kampff test from Blade Runner. Relax, I shower once a day; twice on warm days or after physical labour.
