26 at the moment and feeling old. At least when it comes to "not getting excited of most gamesanymore" aspect.
Now you mention it... When ever a new game is released, I forget about it due to work and such stuff, just to pick it up waaay later when I for some reason start up steam.
The days of getting all pumped about a game seems so long ago..
Oh - and 31 (today)... and would you now all be good kids and get the feck off my lawn!
24, 25 in 5 weeks.
@jmatrix: Seems the hype over games has been dying down in general over the past few years. Remember 2006-2007 when boatloads of new IPs (Gears of War, Bioshock) or installments to popular franchises (Halo, CoD4) were coming out? Kind of miss those times and hope we see another period like that in the new gen where people are constantly going apeshit.
23. I agree about losing interest in games. I just bother with indie games and one $60 game a year these days. The only big budget game I'm pumped about for 2013 is South Park: The Stick of Truth. As an endnote, it's been 5 years since high school. It feels like yesterday, but it's been five years. FIVE!
Huh, turns out I never posted my age in this thread (thank goodness for 50 posts to a page). I'm 20 and it's crazy to go back and see everybody's posts in this thread 4.5 years when a lot of us were teenagers. It's also crazy to think that I've been visiting GB regularly for nearly a 1/4 of my life!
37 and yeah I do remember the joy when I first saw a friend's home Pong machine... If the PS4 doesn't have wood panelling I will be mightyly disappointed.
I am 30.
