He was that dude that was really excited about everything in California's Gold. This may not be appropriate, but maybe we can get a ghost Huell on Comedy Bang Bang now. Oooh what craziness that would bring.
Huell Howser is DEAD.
Man, this really bums me out. Huell was cool as shit.
Huell Howser: "Is that a rug? My Lord, look at that. That's amazing."

R.I.P. Huell, even though you're a robot.
Also a crow?
We haven't had Huell Howser on CBB in so long. Now would be a great time. Starts out with "death? what's that?" and then when he inevitably breaks down we found he faked his death to protect the Enigma Force 5.

Even after you guys telling me, I still have no idea who that is.
He has a show on PBS (?) where he goes around California. He's impressed very easily.
On the greatest podcast of all time, Comedy Bang Bang, comedian James Adomian does an impression of him (the video in the OP), which is why people would actually care about this on Giant Bomb.

I'd much rather see Tom Leykis or the food critic make another appearance.

Hearing James Adomian smoothly go back and forth from Jesse Ventura to Huell Howser is always a highlight of my life. Though Tom Leykis is a strong contender for his best character.

Holy shit the Tom Leykis/Amy Poehler episode was incredible. Not as good as Andrew Lloyd Webber and the orphan boy though.@HaltIamReptar said:

Leykis and Huell are the best, but there are so many good ones. They all need to make one long appearance. Oh f***, I forgot to listen to today's CBB.
GUYS, we need to start a CBB fan club here or something. Cause probably none of you post comments on the podcasts and forums over there. I only rarely post.
Is there a rec for specific episodes of Comedy Bang Bang? After this... uhh, thing here it's sounding to me like my very late discovery of MBMBaM and UYD.

Tom Leykis? Are we thinking of the same one? Talk radio dude that was on 97.1 in Los Angeles?

After a particular good or interesting episode I usually check the forums to see the reaction. That's about it for me.
An Andy Daly cavalcade-of-suicides type thing done by James Adomian would tickle me pink.

The "best of" episodes are a pretty good start. Guests to way go out of your way to look out for: Ben Schwartz, Andy Daly, Jason Mantzoukas, James Adomian, Jessica St. Clair. There's probably tons more I'm forgetting someone else will mention.

Yup. James Adomian does a fucking outstanding parody of him.

Good starting episodes:
- The New Year Attack of 2011 (my first episode) Guests: Patton Oswalt and Rob Huebel
- Happy Black Friday! Guests: Michael Cera, Jimmy Pardo, Nick Kroll, Paul F. Thompkins, James Adomian, and Harris Wittels
- Farts and Procreation Guests: Adam Scott, Harris Wittels, and Chelsea Peretti
- Out of Bleeps Guests: Amy Poehler, Jason Mantszoukas, and James Adomian
There are also best of collections for the years which are pretty good for starting.

Let us not forget Return to Suicide Housewith guests Brett Gelman and Jon Daly.
Also any episode with Brett Gelman is a classic, especially the early ones when he appeared as himself.
Episode 150 starting Paul F. Tompkins and Bobby Moynihan is brilliant as well.@ThePickle said:
