It would not be my first choice if I wanted to drink milk, but sure why the hell not?
I would have to be horrendously drunk.
On human breast milk.
My initial reaction was fuck no. But then I realised I would totally do it if I was drunk. I guess that's probably a dangerous trait of mine.
Guess that's why it's dubbed liquid courage.
I think I would.
Edit: The guys on the podcast over exaggerated. I don't think it would change your relationship with that person. It's not that weird. It's just milk.
Indeed. Way too much body horror. Human milk is better for you than Cows milk overall, however milk is pretty much for infant/young children. Most people go lactose intolerant as they get older, so you shouldn't really drink milk anyhows. Saying that giving up dairy (especially cheese) is a tough call. Did it for a few years when I was a student, but I'm not inclined to give up my Latte's now, and soya 'milk' tastes dire.
My wife breast fed our daughter for 8 months so instead of waking her up every time she needed to eat at night she should just milk herself and freeze it in little pack. Once while waking up really early to feed the then baby; I just was so out of it that after warming it up I made myself a cup of the black stuff and instead of putting regular milk I put in breast milk so I just said "fuck it" because the child was hungry and I wanted to drink my coffee.
I once put it in my coffee by mistake. Made it taste sweet. Then tried it by itself.
That's awesome, I'm laughing out loud here. How did that happen?
So I guess I'm weird for thinking so many of you guys are weird for being so staunchly against it.
Granted, I can't even remember what it tastes like, but man. I do know I spent a good deal longer drinking it than most. Next thing you guys will be telling me you don't like anchovies.
Totally. The source of the breastmilk is an issue, but if it's from a friend or somethin', I'd do it.
I feel like it would be weirder if it was from a friend rather than anonymous breastmilk from a stranger. On a related note, "Anonymous Breastmilk" sounds like a great online handle or band name.
As someone who hasn't consumed cow's milk in any form in over 20 years, I am really disturbed by the idea of people who will happily drink cow's milk but wouldn't want to try human milk as an adult.
I'd definitely try it, but have no interest in it being some kind of long-term part of my diet.
