Good morning, people of Giant Bomb!

Having burnt myself out on World of Tanks a few months back (quite literally - my Firefly's exploded more times than I can count), I went to watch 'Fury' last week - and - long story short, I need a new way to get my WWII fix... do we have any tabletop gamers or wargamers on Giant Bomb?

I've been looking for a new avenue... a new medium.... so - has anyone tried WWII wargaming - does anyone have any particular recommendations?

I've been looking at Bolt Action - and stumbled across a mini-game from Warlord Games to win loads of tanks and all sorts... if I win, I might have to investigate Bolt Action...

I haven't actually played it but my FLGS has lots of people into Flames of War

It's at a bigger scale than bolt-action which is more of a skirmish game (you have fewer units and they are more detailed) where as Flames of War operates at a higher scale. My friend and I are both interested but he wants to play afrika korps and I want to play Winter War Finland so it'd never make sense for our forces to fight.
