What I really mean is that I cant think of any websites to visit regularly. I pretty much just go to a handful of websites daily and they usually have nothing new to offer me on a daily basis.

but heres the list of sites I visit daily:

  • Gmail
  • Facebook
  • Hulu
  • Netflix
  • Giantbomb
  • Tested
  • The google play app store
  • craigslist
  • twitter
  • en.spaceengine.org
  • Astronomical Picture of the Day

Thats about it. And I pretty much only go to most of those sites if there are no new videos on giantbomb. What am I missing?

EDIT: Smeg, I meant for this to be in off topic. My apologies.

NOTE TO EVERYONE WHO EVER READS ONE OF MY TOPICS. My topic titles are never literal... They are usually meant to be funny and or eye catching.

Fark.

#3 Posted by N7 (3580 posts) -

Now all you have to do is check out the darknet and see all of the shady hitman deals going on.

#4 Posted by Devil240Z (3319 posts) -

Side note, I feel like half of people on here only respond to topic titles with out actually reading the OP...

If you like Astronomy try http://www.galaxyzoo.org/ You can help classify galaxies and stuff. I'm pretty sure you even get to name stuff if you spot something unusual. (Look up Hannys Voorwerp)

Is that where Hitman soon left to after Giant Bomb?

Bookmarked. I guess I have a new place to go when I'm REALLY bored.

Reddit just seems like a step above 4chan. Either way they both creep me out.

Youtube? And where's your porn site of choice?

#13 Posted by HatKing (5884 posts) -

You visit more sites than me. I pretty much do GiantBomb, Facebook, and Amazon (only if I need to buy something). Netflix is done on the 360 or PS3, and email is done on my phone. Haha... The internet is great, but I'm happy with just a few sites.

I used to go to youtube but it seems like all the interesting content creators are gone.

I just seem to get in these early morning situations where nothing has been posted to GB yet and I don't know what to do with my morning.

I'm right there with you man. There simply isn't enough to keep me interested.

Chip and Ironicus.com, love those guys.

#18 Posted by Schmollian (260 posts) -

You don't visit the WHOLE internet daily until you add 4chan to that list.

#19 Posted by HatKing (5884 posts) -

@Devil240Z: That's actually what I went through today. I ended up dicking about on the forums here. Also played some Skyrim. haha

I wish the chrome most visited sites thing that show up when you open a new tab could be configured to be like top 20 or something instead of 8.

Ha! 4chan is the seedy underbelly? 4chan is like Tijuana. It's a relatively safe tourist trap at this point.

those websites are all in english. try to learn a language!

Here's a number of websites I frequent regularly. Some are obvious, but you didn't list them, so I won't assume. Maybe you'll like some of them, if not, then maybe you have seen it all:

cinemassacre.com (angry video game nerd)

huffingtonpost.com

theonion.com

wikipedia

screwattack.com

Some of my favourite websites I found through Youtube ,sites like Spill.com, Red Letter Media , That guy with the glasses just to name a few .I only regularly check maybe 10 sites everyday but this is only because most of the stuff I watch is from youtube .

#28 Posted by whatisdelicious (1212 posts) -

Yeah, I've been feeling about the same recently. Things are pretty slow gearing up for E3, so checking game news (usually a big part of my time when I'm online) hasn't really yielded much. It'll pick up soon though. Not really much of a Reddit guy either.

But I'd recommend getting RockMelt. All the sites I visit on a daily basis (or certain days of the week, like webcomics) are on a sidebar, and each site has an icon. If there are new stories, a number will appear over the icon. Click it and it'll bring up a bigger pop-up sidebar with the site's RSS feed and you can read a snippet of the story and decide if you want to open up the link. Saves me so much time that I used to spend rechecking the same sites over and over every couple hours and seeing that nothing's updated.

I'm gonna have to say reddit too. If only for the askReddit board, which has new threads of thousands of comments every day, each one full of interesting and funny stories from the users.

@TracerX: god, i just read one of the creepiest things ever and its all cause i went to reddit after u reminded me it existed.

TVTropes.

Look up your favorite book, movie, video game, religious text, actor, anime, Western cartoon, etc, and type "TVTropes" next to it. Then, once you figure out just what the hell the site is, you'll spend, oh, forever on it.

@Devil240Z: Youtube?

I spent most of my days searching stupid videos. Why don't you do that too?

#39 Posted by biospank (657 posts) -

But I do see you're problem with not seeing something new, I used to be like this too but then I started being on 4chan.

  • The verge
  • Polygon (verge gaming site)
  • Destructoid
  • Reddit (ehh I know, but it has some interesting news sometimes).
  • Slashdot
  • Twit.tv
#42 Posted by BestUsernameEver (4825 posts) -

@frankfartmouth: Also, redlettermedia.

Tech stuff: The Verge, Phoronix, ArsTechnica (not as much now, too much article recycling,) Reddit, Anandtech, and slashdot

Photography stuff: dpreview, dxomark, flikr, nikonrumors, kenrockwell, craigslist, keh, amazon, adorama, and B&H

Youtube and Netflix covers the rest. There're a few other sites I visit occasionally, but Giantbomb is the only game site I visit daily.
