This is why I clear my browser history every day. And never ever go looking through other peoples history. What was seen can never be unseen. If it's of any comfort to you, at least it wasn't hardcore gay porn. Whatever you do, do not talk to him about it. Get drunk, hit your head with a hammer until you get amnesia (don't). But do not talk to anyone about it, there's no reason to.
I have a bit of an ethical dilemma of sorts and I need help.
Me and my girlfriend are into some hardcore stuff. Both looking at it on the internet and doing it together. What goes on in the bedroom stays there. Nothing says that his wife isn't in on it. Sure it makes it extra creepy when old people do that, but I guess they have needs too.

Oh goddamn it. There's going to be a calamity of confrontations forever if this happens.
Just the way God intended it.

It can't be that hardcore if you're just constraining yourselves to the bedroom. IT'S ALL ABOUT BANGING IN THE AIRING CUPBOARD WITH THE BOILER ON.
You're a bad person for looking through this browser history and you're a bad person if you don't keep it to yourself! You have no business in bringing this up with him, he's done nothing illegal and as others have pointed out the escort thing might as well have been an ad for all you know, but assumptions are fun.

If that were true, there would be more "join grandpa" responses.

Have it out with him, tell him to stop and get help if he is fucking about, install software on his laptop so he can't access anything like that. If you dont want to do it in person then just delete it all, put anti-porn software on his computer and just leave a text file on his screen saying that this is his second chance and you don't get many of them in life.
How old are you? let the old man have his fun.
Im 29 and I was offering advice to a clearly distraught guy who is worried this could potentially really hurt his family and his grandmother and was also bothering him quite a lot. My comment had nothing to do with how old I am, you need to grow up yourself kid and not pass comment on my advice in such a pointless way with no reasons or argument. His grandad is looking at rape porn and escorts, is married and has a family and you want him to let him have his "fun"? Great job there.

Can't remember where I heard this, but while your sex drive kind of wanes off in middle age, it apparently comes raging back in your 60s.
Old folks homes are full of orgies

Okay, so he admits liking it. OP should mention why he was disturbed by it. Provide his/her own perspective. The worst of the worst outcome here is grandfather telling OP that he likes it, he knows that type of porn is morally wrong, and he will continue to watch it because this is his taste now. There will be a moral burden on OP here. Should he/she tell authority figure about this? Should he/she tell other family members about this? I can't say any way because of how little context we are aware of, but it is better to carry this burden than just ignore the issue altogether.
Define moral wrong. Why is an act between two consenting adults morally wrong? Presumably if you are watching that shit you don't think it's black & white. I mean just because something is taboo & disgusts you doesn't make it morally wrong.
If it's not child porn, snuff films or real rapes, then you should not out him. It is his business, not yours.
As for the "escort" agency usage - it depends. It really does. Does he use safe sex when visiting these escorts? Is he visiting them? The only thing that you should be concerned about is STDs - he could pass them on to your grandmother, provided they still have sex (and his visits to the escorts might indicate that they no longer have sex with each other. As women get older, Libido goes doooooooown fast. In men it also decreases but not by nearly as much). As long as he uses safe sex with the ladies of the night, then it's not your concern - it's his concern and your grandmothers concern. Don't get involved.

As long as its not child porn, you shouldn't rat him out. He wants to see a couple of hardcore scenes before he moves on then let him be. And to be honest, he's 71. I'm sure he didn't ''hit that'' in 20 years. As for escorts... well, maybe he needs special nursing. I'm kidding. I don't know what to say about escorts.
No disrespect.
you don't wanna be the guy that fucks up a 50 year old marriage do you?
Just quietly tell him about incognito mode on chrome with a wink and a nudge or something

OH SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!
So...explain this to me: What is fundamentally different about looking at porn sites and looking at escort sites?
Ultimately, its not your business. So he likes to look at stuff that you find creepy and weird. This affects you..how? Just fix his computer and forget about it.

This. Unless it's child porn or you have concrete proof of him cheating/using escorts or any kind of proof of real illegal shit then don't say anything because you should of never breached his trust in the first place. You violated his privacy and from the sounds of it he isn't doing anything illegal, you would just end up looking like a complete fucking asshole.
You should reprogram the webcam to constantly record him. Then when you get some good footage of him masturbating to rape videos you can get one of those novelty cakes done up for his next birthday with that image on it. Put a little candle where his cock is and write "Don't blow too hard Grandpa! Happy Birthday!" in decorator's frosting.

Exactly. And I don't even think its that taboo any more, I mean just look at 50 Shades of Grey. That book is full of "rape fantasy-esque" sex and women are eating that shit up. (Poor choice of words?)
Fantasies are just that.
Do you think he watches Ultimate Surrender?
It's where two rough-looking lesbians wrestle and then the loser gets banged with a strap-on.
It's weird, but it's also pretty erotic.
As long as said sites are not pertaining to any illegal action (prostitution, child pornography, rape, etc) than I would just leave it alone. He's 71 and should just be left alone to what he's done. There isn't much time for change and I doubt it would fix/help anything this long in any married relationship. However, if it does have any of the before mentioned content, than yes.

Well, 2 outta 3 aint bad!
@BiffMcBlumpkin: Well, unless I missed it, he said that the sites may or may not have been "true" rape. I've never done this whole porn thing so maybe I'm just losing it in the translation, but I know that there are wo/men out there that enjoy that form of "RP'ing."
