I need help thinking of a new username!

As you may know, I'm not very happy with my current username. Until recently, I had resigned myself to being "pat4327" for perpetuity. But, a few weeks ago, Whiskey Media began allowing users a one-time name change. I'd like to change my username to my real name (Patrick Van Brunt) or some permutation thereof. The catch is, I want to have the same username across every site I use, so the name needs to be available on WM, Twitter, and Xbox Live. I've already tried "PatVB" and "PatrickVB" but some jerks already have those Twitter handles. I've considered just using my full name, but I'm concerned that it's too long for anyone to remember. Do any of you guys have suggestions for a good username I can use?

How do you change your username?

@laserbolts: Go to auth.whiskeymedia.com/. In the "Management" section, click "Change Email / Password." From there, just type a different name in the field and you're good to go! Just remember that you can only do it once, so choose wisely!

Fed your name into the ol' anagram-izer and the best it could come up with were: "burnt pink cravat" and "vibrant crunk Pat". I guess the latter works, depending on whether or not you're vibrant and/or crunk.

I don't have a good suggestion I know that most people come up with usernames through 7 different ways:

1. Using real names (patrick1982)

2. Names that reveal something about themselves (spunkyguy)

3. Tech related names (Intelisbest)

4. Play on words or sounds (whathell)

5. Names of objects and names related to biosphere (earthlyight)

6. Celebrities or famous characters (Zeus)

7. Sexually oriented names (hornywhore)

I would suggested creating a name that falls into 3 or 4 of these categories. Then you would have a name that is, if not something unique, at least something memorable.

I'm no mastermind when it comes to this kind of thing but think of a good username that abbreviates to VB or PB or something. That's basically what i did naming my self doom pig and on Xbox live i had more than enough room to add an extra word so Unreal doom pig was born. Just to throw out some suggestions, Vicarious bike, PunterVonBunter, PawnvsBishop, Phillyvoreborn, Peseta vs barn, i could continue......

i added spaces to the ones that had space for them....

It's best to come up with your own username so it comes from the heart. Create a username that represents something to you or what not.
