I urge every one of you to watch this if youre confused about this whole Bailout business and the coming elections. Dont go thinking your government is your friend. I applaud this woman by the way, she is inspirational to everyone in every sense of the word. Enjoy, and listen carefully.

She has a valid point, I think rushing the negotiation is just so that people don't take alot of time to examine the consequences of taking that large sum of money.

She makes a good point about privatizing gains to the few and socializing losses to the many.  Unfortunately there is a tie between those who have the power & those who don't (the public).  So basically the powerful will find a way to push their losses onto the rest.

I don't think the American gov't has the leverage or willpower to control the powerful, as she said, they have paid off both parties.

A lot of the 'real assets' have been lost, forever.  Not only have home areas with lots of foreclosures plummeted, but there are even places where the homes have been looted, & stuff like pipes stolen, and now the home itself is worth negative money (it needs to be torn down & removed).

As far as job creation, we REALLY need a new CCC, RIGHT NOW.  We need to completely overhaul everything from our roads to electric grid to internet & especially power.  We should take on some ambitious projects like 50 nuclear power plants or a massive solar panel array.  This new CCC should have massive job training.  It also should treat everyone much nicer, plenty of dicipline but MUCH higher living standards.  The CCC can build for itself in this way.
