I think I have a forum addiction

I could be playing Psychonauts or doing homework in preparation to play Battlefield BC2 for the next few days, but instead I'm lurking the Giantbomb forums posting random nonsense in forums for games I've long beat or am waiting to play. I think it's come down to an addiction at this point. I have nearly 1000 posts after just a few months of membership at Giantbomb. Think I should lay off the forum crack for a while and limit my Giantbomb consumption?

Dude, 1000 posts is nothing close to addiction. I had over 30,000 posts on NSider. THAT'S forum addiction.

it's called milking the things u need to do. i usually take small break when doing homework and post on here. look how many posts i have.

The word "addiction" is thrown around alot these days.

I know how you feel, I usually milk things out waiting for the next I Love Mondays video to pop up.

I remember getting so freaked when my name & icon popped up on the list at the left in General Discussion.  I have to admit, there was some shame.  Now I am over it though since I believe the majority of my posts are chatty.  It's not like I am just racking up post counts with short replies.  Although, this comment is really in the end useless, so that negates much of what I've just said...
 
Anyway, I consider reading about games and talking (forum posting) about games just as much a part of my gaming hobby as playing the things themselves.
