The white site in infinitely better with this new design compared to the old one that's for sure.

I'll try it for a while i think. I still like the black site a lot though.

Color doesn't matter (well generally white on black is easily the best to read but the colors are okay here) but phone friendliness tends to kill or severely hamper browser friendliness.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one that voted here, but that looks funny. I like the overall site format. Its fucking fantastic! Just the layout, is great. ~ But, going from black to white: is like turning on the lights in a dark room, and finding a legion of giant rats (being us) with giant yellow eyes, trying to get used to the light. I think white is alright, I just can't use it much, at night.

I just switched to the light version of the site. Looks more clean.

My vision is bad, and I can see better with the black site rather then the white.

Actually to be more accurate i'd say i like white for the forum but black everywhere else.

On the front page the white site kinda looks like crap because of the black background behind the top 4 videos/news.

When it's just the dark header at the top it's fine.

They're both nice. News/Reviews look stylish in white, but the forums feels better in (the) dark. I'll probably go dark most of the time, but somehow the articles look a lot more professional in white. No idea why.

White text on black will always be easier to read for me and therefore my preference. White is better than it used to be, though.

I've always preferred the black site just because it's easier on the eyes.

It's not a white theme, it's a light theme. Big difference, this seems way less bright than the old white site. I'll still be using the black site though, until, you know.

The main reason I went with black on the previous site was because that the white site looked plain ugly. Now I'm using black just because I'm used to the dark design. They both look nice now. Good job Dave. And Alexis. And everyone else.

Black is still the best version. I can't do white. It is too harsh.

The white version of the site still hurts my eyes so I'm sticking with black.

The white theme is less offensive than the old site, but I still prefer the black theme.

The contrast of white text on a black background is better for your eyes on backlit displays. This is even why the tablet version of Amazon's Kindle app allows that for a reading mode.

Unless you're reading on some sort of future transparent and/or e-ink display, the White Site will slowly kill your eyes. However, if you enjoy it more, then use it. Don't worry about what others feel.

I am glad I was reminded I could change it. Black is so much better.

I prefer darker sites in general. I even have a chrome extension to apply dark themes to sites with bright backgrounds.
