I tried singing the blues...

Seriously, in my attempt to get better at playing music/singing/recording, I took a stab at recording an old acoustic blues standard called "Gambler's Blues."

I'd love any thoughts/critiques/comments you may have. Thanks!

You don't sound sad...I don't know. I'm not suggesting you to go live a sad life or anything but yeah...

@geralt: Well, I'm not sad. Usually. And the blues aren't really supposed to be sad necessarily. Also, it's actually as much a folk song as it is a blues song, but yeah, maybe I could use a few years of smoking and whiskey-drinking. To give you a point of comparison, I learned this song off of a track recorded by folk singer Dave Van Ronk in the last 1950s.

Sounds ok, main issue is the vocals are way louder then the guitar, kinda hard to hear the chords.
