Ideas for a movie night

So I met this girl and we hit it off right away. We're dating now and she wants to get two of our friends (im really good friends with the guy)  together by doing a double date movie night. I need ideas of what to bring to watch, now keep in mind that both of the girls like gooey dumb chick flicks, but would like to see the kind of movie me and him watch ie. the classic (pulpfiction, 2001, etc) any ideas on how to bridge the gap. Thanks!

Out of Sight starring George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez. Very funny with a twisty turny plot but also a strong romantic underpinning.

i dont think zombieland would be a good idea I think one of them doesn't like gore.

Evil Dead Marathon. It's got humour, it's got gore, it's got Bruce Campbell. What's not to like?

I don't know if you've seen Zombieland before but it's not very gory. You should be alright. Don't quote me on it.
