If you could see all of any one continent, but only one, what would it be? (Q of the Day 8-27-10)

I'm not entirely sure what the hell "Oceana" is composed of. All I know is they're not at war with East Asia and never have been. 
 
Alright I googled. Yeah, Oceania takes it by a mile. Just island paradise after island paradise.  Asia's going to win the poll, though, cus its a game forum and Japan is in Asia.

Europe or Asia.

Antarctica.... while seemingly the dumbest answer, the reason I choose it is because it'd be like visiting the Moon in some way. Very few people have seen much of the continent, much less the secrets it must hold and the places that can be discovered there. It'd be like walking on ontouched ground that no one has ever explored before.  I think next up would be Asia, then Europe. 
 
Btw, the poll is kinda open-ended. I was originally going to say "magically". That is, if you could magically visit ALL parts of the continent and explore all there is to see. Therefore, with Antarctica, I think you would get to see much that very few people if anyone has ever seen before. Not that I'm a history expert or anything, I know it's been fully explored (or at least, I assume). But you know what I'm getting it. 
 
Btw Oceania is just so Australia has a chance. lol. So if you pick "Australia" you get to visit all of Indonesia and New Zealand too! :D

Greenland is part of Europe and essentially it would be the same experience as Antarctica. Except without penguins.

Africa seems the most interesting, combination of wildlife and natural beauty wins it for me. 
 
S. America was my close second.

That's awfully confusing. I guess cus the Canadian northern territories and Greenland basically have the same wildlife. Well scratch that. Come to North America! Polar bears.

Brazil is supposed to be the 2nd country with the sexiest people on earth after America........so i chose South America D: but if i were to say Europe it would only be because Spain or Italy.

I picked Asia because I have always had an interest in Asian culture since I was a kid.

Europe because I've never been and every country has such a rich history and culture.

Not to mention it has a huge amount of variety when it comes to culture. It has all those religions you hear about all the time but never really look into because they aren't trying to kill each other.

At first I was going to say Europe because you get such variety between Spain, France, England, Germany, Italy, etc.  But then I remember that Mount Everest and all of the Himalayan region is in Asia. Combine that with my love for Japan and it's gotta be Asia. I fell in love with Everest a few years ago after reading Into Thin Air and have been addicted to reading everything I can about it ever since. Likewise, Japan has just held my curiosity for so long. I hope to make it to both places someday.

Africa for me.

Nobody cares about the Amazon rain forest? Surprised at the general indifference to South America. If you took Spanish you can nearly get by (Portugese is surprisingly similar) just about anywhere on the continent, which can't really be said about anywhere else other than North America.

People have given plenty of compelling reasons to not go there. The "bigness" doesn't come into play because a good chunk of that is the middle east, yuck, and inhospitably cold areas of Russia.  "

Europe, as i think i would get the most variety in terms of different cultures.

I feel like I can physically go to any of the major continents and islands if I really wanted to for really no trouble to myself at all. 
 
Antarctica on the other hand, would be incredibly difficult to trek through. This sounds like a hypothetical/wish so I don't want to waste it on something I could do one summer after saving up for a bit. 
 
Though I don't want to play down how dangerous some war zones in the world are. Yes, they'd be very difficult to really take in, I'm sure.

Europe, I live there but there's a lot of interesting countries I haven't seen yet.

asia seems the most interesting, definitely not Africa too many ways to die, or get horribly sick.

i adore Europe

It was a pretty hard decision, but because of it's history and elegance, I vote for Europe.

I say Oceania because I've always wanted to go to Austrailia, the other countries are a bonus too

That's why i almost picked it. Do you know how many islands Indonesia has? It's insane. Also volcanos! Annnnd New Zealand is GORGEOUS. Not to mention Australia would be interesting too.   I agree. Eveyrone here wants to see all of Japan. Much less China, Korea, Vietnam, etc. "

north america. from the beautiful beaches in the gulf, to the amazing temperate rainforest in washington, to the amazing wilderness of alaska. and then everything in between (grand canyon, las vegas, rockies, etc etc etc).... but europe in a very close 2nd for me.

Europe, for most of the reasons already mentioned.

I picked Africa because I went there over the summer and it seems to have a fair amount of variety and, at least in Zambia, and friendly people. But, yeah, Asia is tempting just because of Japan.

Europe or Oceania.

I can't see why the answer wouldn't be Asia, simply for the massive variety between countries. Russia, India, Japan, etc.

Asia without a doubt.

Africa because I know by the end of any tour I would be bored and in Africa I can stick my head in a tigers mouth... 

North America, because I live here, damn it!

Europe. Every European country is very different from the others. i have no real interest in japan or asia.
