Agreed!
The Thing.
On the Rain Slick Precipice of Darkness: Episode I
On the Rain Slick Precipice of Darkness: Episode II
Revelations: Persona
Persona 2: Innocent Sin
Persona 2: Eternal Punishment
Persona 3
Persona 3: FES
Persona 4
Rome: Total War
Super Meat Boy
Strider is a decent one. Xenosaga Episode III: Also Sprach Zarathustra if I hated him.
I'm now kind of set on Klonoa, plus it can be shortened to clo that is somehow not the name of a sci-fi character yet, plus it has a slightly incredible Wikipedia page.
But seriously, my ex-wife and I used to play Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo, and she always played as Morrigan, so we named our daughter Morgan. That's as close as I'm going to get to naming my kid after a video game.
Robin Hood?
Not that's a cheap-out.
Fallout.
So I can call him Fallout boy.
For a girl, Lara Croft. That's a cheap-out as well.
Half-Life
and if i had a second Half-Life 2
and if Half-Life 2 had a child I would hope they would call them episode 1
Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon. for either sex.
St. Row III

Teacher: White Princess the second ~ Love Adventure in the School That Follows the Principle of Convenience, Where It's Okay to Stray From the Path or Stay on the Path?
Steven: No, she's not here today.
Teacher: What a waste of time...
Battletoads & Double Dragon: The Ultimate Team seems like it would fit either gender.

Braid for a girl would be quite cool.
D: I chose Braid as my boy's name. My thinking was that it kind of sounded like Brad.
