Image Sizes

I'm trying to upload an avatar, but it keeps saying that the image is too small. I tried looking it up in the "help" column, but it didn't say anything, can someone tell me what is the size limit for avatars in this site?

150x150 is the size of the avatars

Oh thank you, I thought the file size was too small.

The forum avatars are 75x75, yet you can't upload smaller pictures than 150x150. Really brings down the image quality of my avatar...

yeah minimum size is 150x150, thats why i don't have my custom one yet.

I can now understand why 150x150 is the minimum size for profile pictures... but it still doesn't make sense for icons, since they never show up that large anyways.

I was wondering why my current GS avatar wouldn't load.... only this older one.

Also GIFs and PNG without backgrounds dont appear to work.

On most forums people whine that the avatars are too small, now people are saying that these ones are too big! It's crazy I tells ya!

Avatars are 150x150 and Profile images are 300x300.

150x150 for icons, that's why some of my past icons couldn't load.

Ahh 150 x 150.... I must say, thats quite large.

Thanks for the info.  I was thinking the file size in kb was too small and I was like WTF?

Transparent gifs lose their transparency when uploaded, btw.
