In which order do you put on your clothes?

In which order do you put on your clothes? I ask this question because I was at the gym today with a friend, who put on his socks before he put on his pants. I found this rather weird. The order in which I put on my clothes is based on which item of clothing I'd least like to be without when out and about. So the underwear comes first, obviously. Then pants, shirt, socks and shoes. It seems like the most logical order in which to do this process, in my opinion.

I go underwear, socks (which I kind of consider underwear also), pants, shirt, then shoes. Never thought about it until now.

Oh also, I feel like putting on the socks before the pants helps slide your feet better during the "putting on pants" process.

Socks, pants then a sweater or another piece of upper body clothing. I find it annoying getting the socks on while wearing pants.

Socks, pants, shirt.

Shirt, garter belt, pants, underwear. And, time permitting, socks.

I put on my underwear, socks, black pants, white dress shirt and black blazer. Red tie then black gloves. Afterwards I look so smooth.

Once that's all done, I take off the socks.

Also, I feel that pants before t-shirt is the correct way so the shirt doesn't get in the way of buttoning/zipping/belting up the pants. An exception, of course, is if you tuck your shirt in. Then, obviously, it's shirt, then pants.

@falserelic: It just dawned on me that I completely forgot about my black shoes.

Underwear > Pants > Shirt > Socks > Shoes

Although, I may go with this. Sounds like a great technique. :D

Left Sock, bow tie, hat, t-shirt, underwear, thread belt through pants then put on the pants (right leg first), left shoe, right sock, right shoe.

Uniform: Underwear, socks, undershirt, blouse, shirt stays, trousers, belt, shoes, cover.

Civilian clothing: Underwear, pants, shirt, socks, shoes.

You would rather go without pants then go without underwear? That's weird. I don't wear clothes. My reptilian scales have chameleon like properties that allow it to change form sort of like Mystique, this gives the appearance of clothing, though really I'm nude all the time. Like right now.

Depends, when I'm just coming out of the shower I have sandals I slip on, then I put on my underwear, pants, a shirt, and then I put on my socks after I get back to my room. If I'm just getting dressed, then socks go on after underwear.

Underwear, socks, then whatever is otherwise required to go about my day as the order past socks doesn't really make any difference to me. Well, shoes go on last, I suppose.

i have no real pattern, i put on my underwear first though. aside from that its chaos.

Though if I have to tuck the shirt in, then I'll probably put that on before pants.

The real issue is did you friend put on his socks before his underwear? I figure after underwear you can go with whatever order you want.

Underwear always first, socks always last. Everything else can go in any order I feel like.

Boxers, pants, shirt, socks. At the gym I often see people put a t-shirt on first like they're Winnie the Fucking Pooh and it infuriates me.

Clothes? Where we're going, we don't need clothes!

Boxers, shorts/pants and then socks then shirt or shirt then socks. I mix it up, I don't really pay attention though lol.
