Interesting historical fact about dead Russian leader

Did you know after the leader of the Russian Revolution Vladimir Lenin died they put him in some sort of chamber that keeps him looking life like so that the public can see him. He died in 1924 and is still in this chamber. I'm not going to post any pictures of him because I don't think it is a great idea to post a picture of a dead body in the forums, if your interested to see what he looks like now go ahead and make a google search. The Russians did the same thing with Stalin for a little while but eventually buried him because he isn't very liked. 



What do you think of this? Do you think it is weird, unnatural, and not right or a great way to preserve history? I'd love to hear all of your opinions.
