I cannot even begin to think how to fathom how articulating with words, how I feel after looking at the images I've been seeing and watching from YouTube and online websites the past few days. This is not just about an election.  It is about a government that has been suppressing its people for 30 years now.  This election was just the boiling point or a catalyst/excuse for people to stand up.  I agree 100% though that Iranians have to sort this out by themselves and that there should not be any foreign intervention. The only reason why this is getting more coverage than other protests around the world, think anti-bank/globalist protests with people dying, anti-police rallies in Greece, running street battles etc, is simply they want to destabilise Iran and oust the government. Problem is the Iranians aren't anti-government, they want Mousavi in power, who himself is a moderate Islamist, yes folks he's an Islamist. Again the west is interfering and it is only going to come back and bite them in the ass.

Ron Paul says it best when he says the more America interferes in other nations, the bigger the rod they create for other nations to beat them with. More interference leads to more instability which inevitably hurts American interests.
